I had the yakisoba with bacon and it was delicious. The place was packed and smelled delicious from outside so we had to get in. They said it would take a long time but it was actually super fast and it was so much fun to watch them prepare the food!

Great local spot for Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki

Best service around. We didn't speak much Japanese but the staff tried so hard to be accommodating. They got to know us and the food was very yummy. 10/10 would recommend if you are foreigner who is seeking the authentic local experience.

The・Showa okonomiyaki restaurant (Hiroshima style) Choose the number of toppings from 1 to 4, and they will bake it at a price according to that (^q^) A nice shop with a bright interior, a large iron griddle, and employees with wonderful smiles. It will surely be more and more active in the coming Reiwa! Tuesdays and Fridays are draft beer 350 yen days so especially recommended! Thursdays are ladies' days where women get 150 yen off menu items above Plaza-yaki! Recommendation is with soba and as long as there is pork it's OK! Cheese or mochi is a must on the griddle according to preference!

Moved from Hiroshima by job transfer, and went there because they said it was Hiroshima okonomiyaki, but the customer service was surprising. There were 3 staff members, but all of them were at their limit and didn't care about their surroundings at all. About 80% of the seats were occupied, but I wonder how it has lasted for 35 years. The okonomiyaki itself was Mihara-yaki, not Hiroshima, so well, that's how it is. It was smaller than the okonomiyaki I usually ate. Seems like I have to go when it's not busy.
