One of the finest seafood restaurants in Osaka, this place is run by a warm and welcoming master who serves exquisite seafood prepared with expert craftsmanship. Unlike the typical Osaka-style “high cost-performance” casual fare, this is genuine Japanese cuisine—elegant, refined, and priced accordingly. The only caveat is that they don’t accommodate guests who can’t order in Japanese, as there’s no English menu available. But it’s understandable—they value direct communication and take pride in describing each dish in their own words. Over time, we came to appreciate that accommodating non-Japanese speakers might compromise the flow and philosophy of their service.

I have no idea what the name of this restaurant is so I had to find it back through Street View... I just had to write a review because this was our best food experience in Japan on our trip over a year ago. My girlfriend and me sat at the bar and watched how the super friendly chefs prepared astounding dish after dish. Although we didn’t speak Japanese and they didn’t speak English, we had the best time with them. I really hope I can return there someday, we will never forget that place. Thank you!

The restaurant owner is a racist and humiliated us by asking us out after we get into our seat just because we are not Japanese. We can speak a little Japanese and have no problem at all to understand the menu. It’s a terrible experience and left us a very bad impression about Osaka.

Hmm the restaurant shows us a sign that states it’s only by membership.. not sure what it meant since we are not Japanese and don’t speak Japanese but please do state this somewhere online so we don’t waste our time to locate the place as it has quite good reviews.
