Overflowing dashi! Supremely fluffy, jiggly dashimaki… The "Dashimaki Set Meal," showcasing craftsmanship unique to a specialty catering shop, is surprisingly huge, almost spilling off the plate. The moment you put your chopsticks in, the aroma of dashi gushes out and tickles your nose. It's heavy when you lift it, and in your mouth it's surprisingly smooth with a fluffy, jiggly texture. The sweetness of the egg and the gentle umami of the dashi spread out, and you just keep eating rice. It comes with two small Japanese-style side dishes, and at 750 yen it's great value. This is truly a proper lunch where you can experience Osaka's dashi culture. I'd even want it for breakfast.

Taste-wise, it's THE ordinary (lol) But maybe that's exactly what's good about this place. The staff's thoughtfulness is also perfect. Prices are reasonable too. "I want to go back to my parents' home" I recommend going when you're feeling a little blue. They serve everything freshly made, so warm rice is waiting for you.

The chicken nanban was delicious‼️ The vinegared side was refreshing and nice too‼️

The bento was delicious too, and the egg sandwich is exceptional‼️ The proprietress is a friendly person who loves baths and loves chatting😊 The sushi rolls on Setsubun day were also the best👍
