They also have rare alcoholic drinks! The 2nd and 3rd floors are galleries holding limited-time exhibitions! The owner is also very friendly—it's a place where you lose track of time! The interior is meticulously crafted by the owner, and the black roses on the ceiling are simply lovely!
View on GoogleA place that connects creators and fans. Since the works and artistic styles handled at Mei are dark, I don't think it appeals to the general public, but for those who like this style, I'm sure it's irresistible. (There are lots of deer and wild boar bones inside the shop.) Exhibitions at Mei feature many popular creators who interact with the shop owner, and the spatial decoration tailored to the worldview and themes of the works is breathtaking. (Depending on the exhibition, there may be collaboration food and special perks, so be sure to check.) CafeBar operations outside the exhibition period are irregular, so please check their official X (formerly Twitter). They offer a wide selection of rare drinks, so alcohol lovers should enjoy it. They also have a great selection of tea, which is recommended (pot-served). The food and sweets handmade by the owner are very delicious and reasonably priced, but they are not always available, so checking in advance is a must. Unfortunately, it is not a non-smoking shop, so I don't recommend it for those who dislike smoke. Please note that ordering food and drinks can sometimes take time or result in items being sold out. Despite various drawbacks, I love this shop because talking with the owner and exhibiting artists is fun and cozy. Thank you as always.
View on GoogleThe gallery upstairs features many aesthetic exhibitions, often showcasing well-known artists in the scene. The cafe bar on the first floor offers carefully crafted drinks and food, and the interior decoration is so lovely it's very photogenic! The selection of drinks is quite extensive, with many I've never seen before, so I always let the owner, Roy, choose for me. It's a mysterious place that feels gothic and atmospheric yet cozy and homey.
View on GoogleI stopped by for an event. It had a unique atmosphere and I enjoyed it. When I ordered Oolong tea (I'm not sure if it was just an experiment for that day or if they always do it). Instead of coming from a plastic bottle, they actually ground it and brewed it for me, which surprised me. Anyway, the taste was different from ordinary shops. I enjoyed it and it was delicious. Thank you very much.
