This place was so good! The food was delicious and was prepared beautifully! The building was super cool, and the service was lovely. The set meal for lunch was honestly incredible, seemed pretty simple and standard local fare, but the quality was excellent. We just kind of wandered into this place from Osaka Castle and we're so glad that we did!

Typical Japanese bar run by local folks where you can take a break, have a typical Japanese breakfast, and eat lunch. The lady is very kind, the hot coffee is pleasant, and the interior makes you feel like a local.

Drawn in by the retro exterior, I had the morning set. A quintessential Showa-era café. The seven or so gentlemen already there probably had an average age of over 70... Either way, it felt like a café loved by the local community. When I asked the staff, they said the shop has been in business for nearly 50 years. I had the sandwich morning set; the properly made sandwich had delicious bread too 😊 The coffee was slightly acidic. It was a café that made me think: I really hope it keeps going for a long time…♪
