Couldn't understand the waiter, but she was very nice and helpful. We got some delicious wood, and a very good service. Highly recommend

View on GoogleArrived for lunch on Friday just before 1 PM! 3 groups waiting outside. The daily lunch was an assorted tempura platter of pork (3 pieces as the main), onion (1 piece), and sweet potato (1 piece). I ate it with grated daikon and grated ginger added to the tentsuyu. The small side dishes were hiyayakko, homemade pickled red cabbage (they explained it but I forgot), and coarsely chopped takuan. Then miso soup, and coffee & ice cream after the meal. I was worried the pork tempura might be tough, but it was tender and delicious. (Almost no fat, so it seemed like fillet) They ask about the rice portion when you order. I waited a little, but it was a time of fairly quick turnover, so I got in without waiting too long. (The customers span a wide range of ages, including elderly people)
View on GoogleI ordered the hamburg steak, and surprisingly it was served in less than 2 minutes Maybe they were reheating ones grilled in advance? As for the taste... It felt like once is enough It comes with an onsen egg, but somehow it doesn't seem to go well. A sunny-side-up egg would be better after all The fries were of course pre-fried, so they were limp. I don't need the coffee and the ice cream dessert, so I wish it were a bit cheaper
