I also had the morning-churned warabi mochi after the meal It was chewy and bouncy Slightly sweet with a nice aroma of kinako, and delicious. Every time I pass in front of the shop, it's full of female customers So it felt somewhat hard to enter and I hadn't been able to go until now It was such a great restaurant that I regret not going even sooner without worrying about that. ○Restaurant Atmosphere Simple and mature space ○Customer Demographics 90% female customers of all ages Couples can also be seen here and there
View on GoogleI booked through the restaurant's website and had the 24 Solar Terms meal "Summer Solstice". From the appetizer sunomono to the small side dish obanzai, and the main stuffed tomato, all of them had gentle and delicious flavors. I forgot to take a picture, but there was also Minazuki tofu. It is truly food where you can feel the season. Since I was at it, I also had the seasonal edamame rice. It was healthy and the portion was just right. The dessert menu is also extensive, and I tried the "spilled plum cake" which I haven't seen anywhere else. This was a first-time taste and delicious. The freshly churned warabi mochi was also exquisite. I want to come back to eat the 24 Solar Terms meal and desserts in a different season. Since there are not many seats, it's safer to make a reservation, especially for 3 or more people. The atmosphere seemed easy to use even for a single person, and the staff were pleasant.
View on GoogleI visited on a weekday evening without a reservation, There were no other customers in the restaurant, and I had the place to myself for a while. The structure was designed so that the kitchen's work was hidden, creating a very sophisticated and stylish space. All the dishes were more delicious than expected, and I was especially left with an impression of the warabi mochi. Since it was my first time eating freshly made warabi mochi, I was so moved by its warmth and melt-in-the-mouth texture. It seems the menu changes depending on the season, so I would like to visit again in a different season.
View on GoogleHealthy and delicious. Simple and elegant lunch. A restaurant quietly nestled in a residential area of Nakatsu with a modern Japanese-style interior. A beautiful and relaxing space. The way heat is applied to each ingredient, the high quality of the dashi stock. I had an emotional experience that could not be imagined from the price. The curry also has an outstanding use of sansho pepper. The refreshing aftertaste that follows the mellowness is great. The pudding also has the firm texture I like. The richness of the egg yolk. You could open a restaurant with just this. A dish you'd want to queue up to buy.
