Beautiful shrine and family resting place. If you come during a festival or another holiday time, you may not be permitted to enter or to take pictures because people are making special visits to honor the ancestors. This is more of a large gravesite than a stand-alone shrine, and is very quiet, which is amazing when you consider that it is in the heart of the city.

とても親切なお寺だなと言う、印象です❗ここに訪れたとき、足を痛めていたので階段に上がりやすいように段差のところに鉄板が敷いてありました❗だから上がりやすくて有り難かったです❗車イスの方も大丈夫です🎵境内も清潔感あり、建物も重厚感あり厳かな佇まいでした❗何だか、ホッとする御寺です❗私が小さいときに遊んだ御寺に似ていて、懐かしい感じがして、胸が「キュッ」としました(*^^*)ずっと居たい感じです❗観音様にお詣りして、お庭を散歩させていただきました❗大覚寺最高＼(^-^)／又来させていただきます🎵
