such a beautiful space run by such kind people, really enjoyed my stay, having my own room and access to comfortable and beautiful common spaces was so lovely. the communal meals are a wonderful thing, and when I asked if they had vegetarian options, they brought in cooks from the local vegan society for lunch one day, so incredibly thoughtful. i love cocoroom!!
View on GoogleWondeful place to stay, for a day , a month or a year ! Staff is amazing and speaks english ! This guest house is full of art and colors, they offer different kind of activities and meals to share ( I did miso paste, painting ...) . Thank you so much for all the good vibes and love you shared ❤️
View on GoogleWe stayed there for two nights, staff there was really nice and showed us around. The cafe area and the garden was decorated with colourful paintings and pictures, we had a nice time hanging out. Place is within ten minutes walk from the subway station and very close to the central area of Osaka, and there's a supermarket selling cheap food nearby. Rooms and toilets are clean, and I would definitely recommend having breakfast there, the japanese style breakfast was prepared by a lovely old lady, simple and delicious.
View on GoogleLovely little gem tucked away in a great central Osaka location. Rooms are nice and clean, cool paintings and art all over the walls. Super friendly and helpful staff, owner and friends. Really love the kitchen/dining area where people congregated throughout the day to read, work, eat, sleep, chat and drink. Come here for a wholesome hostel stay in Osaka!
View on GoogleDid not stay, but visited the shop and coffee shop. Very creative, good vibes, sort of hippie feeling place. They prepare lunch and dinner and you're welcome to go (1,300¥-1,500¥), and they have initiatives where you can pay a bit extra and cover the meal or coffee for someone less fortunate. . Lots of detail in the decoration, makes the ambiance really good. I wish to join more, but unfortunately only found the place at the end of my trip! From the outside, it is hard to know it's a coffee shop unless you stop to look at the signs. If you want more people to stop for coffee, I'd recommend making it more obvious!
