Opened on April 22, 2023. Since it enters a residential area a little off the main street, it might be a bit hard to find. Next door is Cafe Ato. We will be open without closing during Golden Week, so we look forward to many visits. Our regular closing day is Thursday, but we are open on national holidays ㊗️.

Authentic and cosy korean restaurant offering a variety of famous korean dishes and especially cold noodles located in a quiet place. It is not very spicy so I also recommend if you're not used to korean food. There's only 5 tables though so it might get full quickly. Finally, prices are very reasonable, no tourists prices. A must if you're visit Korea town!

Chiruchan is known for its cold noodles and bibimbap, and the food itself lives up to its reputation. However, I was surprised by the waiting time. There were only four groups ahead of me, yet I still had to wait almost an hour. Part of the reason was that customers with reservations kept arriving, but once I was inside, I realised there was another issue: the restaurant only has about five or six tables. Some groups had clearly finished eating, yet they continued to talk or look at their phones for a long time, even though there were people waiting outside. The staff were polite and hardworking, and even apologised when I left, so the problem didn't feel like poor service. The small room simply has very little capacity, and slow table turnover is particularly painful at weekends. The interior is new and clean, with the kitchen naturally visible from the dining area. The 1,500 yen set, which includes cold noodles and a small bibimbap, is tasty but expensive. It's good food in a tiny restaurant, where patience may be as necessary as appetite!

I had the cold noodles and rice ball, and the spicy warm noodles and rice ball. Yum >゜))))彡 Aaaaaaah! As expected, the cold noodles here are super delicious. The broth is light yet flavorful and rich, and adding vinegar makes it sharp and even more delicious. The noodles are thin yet have a firm chew without being unpleasantly hard, sliding down smoothly making them easy to chew without cutting. The flavor is also great, and they don't clash with the toppings—I think it's better than eating them in Korea. The spicy warm noodles look like they might pack a punch visually, but they have a sweet and spicy vibe making them easy to eat. The broth here is also delicious, based on beef bone broth with added flavors from the vegetables boiled along with it, so yummy. The rice balls have a great sesame oil flavor, tasting a bit like a mini bibimbap, and they paired wonderfully with the slightly plain cold noodles broth, making them also extremely delicious. Plus, the radish kimchi with changja served on the side had a nice punch and was just right for a chopstick rest. Thank you for the meal It's so delicious and cheap that I don't understand why there isn't a queue of people waiting. The staff's customer service is also good, so I recommend it if you're eating Korean food in Tsuruhashi.

Osaka Food Tour | #OsakaFood If you're eating cold noodles or bibimnaengmyeon in Tsuruhashi, this is one spot you definitely want to remember ✨ What I had this time was the Bibimbap Set B for 1,500 yen and Bibimnaengmyeon for 1,100 yen. Bibimbap Set B comes with a small bibimbap loaded with ingredients and a medium-sized cold noodles set, a happy option for those who want to eat both 😊 The cold noodles have a refreshing taste where you can taste the umami of the beef bone broth, and they pair exceptionally well with the springy noodles. Bibimnaengmyeon is a bowl where you thoroughly coat the noodles in a sweet and spicy sauce 🌶️ You can choose the spiciness from normal, spicy, and extra spicy, and make it a large portion for an extra 200 yen. And you can add a rice ball to the bibimnaengmyeon for an extra 50 yen 🍙 Honestly, the thing that shocked me the most this time was this rice ball. While the cold noodles and bibimnaengmyeon were overall delicious, the rice ball was way more delicious than expected, and I seriously thought "I should have ordered more" 😂 It goes really well with the sweet and spicy sauce of the bibimnaengmyeon, so ordering the extra rice ball is highly recommended. Here is what I had this time 👇 ・Bibimbap Set B 1,500 yen ・Bibimnaengmyeon 1,100 yen ・Add Rice Ball +50 yen
