First time here , tried the mutton curry . Just my own opinion , i found out curry made by japanese people are just hot spicy & not of the aroma or taste of the spices . I only feel the spiciness of chili in this mutton curry . Overall its just ok . For the lack of aroma & taste , think its a bit expensive too .
View on Google[Visit time] ・Weekday 12:00 ・Got in without waiting [Order] ・Coarse-ground keema 1600 yen (+large rice 100 yen) ・Mango juice 200 yen ・Total 1900 yen [Serving] ・Served in about 10 minutes. [Thoughts on the food] ・First of all, there were lots of side dishes, so I could mix and match and eat without getting bored until the end. The dal also had a gentle flavor and was delicious. ・The coarse-ground keema had meat and spices that matched extremely well, and it really made the rice go down. ・As you keep eating there's some heat, but it's a spiciness you can enjoy, and it was very delicious. ・Next time I'd like to try the beef offal [Summary in a word] ・The portion is solid, and I'm happy to get this level of satisfaction at lunch. ・It's within a 5-minute walk from the station, so it's easy to access. ・There are few seats, so going in a small group is recommended.
View on GoogleThe shop is near Kyocera Dome, in a building that looks like an old shop taken over as-is. Visited on a Sunday evening. That day it was running as an event, what you'd call a "~-san's manager day." I had the "Mini Mutton Biryani" (1,000 yen). The basmati rice was cooked a bit dry and crumbly, and the mutton was just a few small pieces of meat. Overall, the sense of unity and the spread of aroma were weak, and my impression was that it was somewhat lacking in satisfaction as a biryani. My companion's pork vindaloo and green curry had a certain amount of flavor. Overall, rather than food that really hits the mark, my impression was that it's the type of place you enjoy for the event aspect and the space as well.
View on GoogleAutumn 2025, visited for lunch ・Pork masala The middle of the rice has a nice buttery kick. The stuff on top has just the right saltiness too. It's like a huge kakuni is sitting on top. The spiciness is right at the edge where you can still properly feel it's delicious, so even while feeling the heat I kept eating. There's quite a variety of side dishes, and the pineapple side dish in particular was refreshing yet sweet, a nice palate cleanser. [Atmosphere] A half-basement shop along the river. Watch out for the step at the entrance. Pretty cramped but a nice atmosphere. [Next time] I'd like to check Instagram and choose from that day's menu, but I want to eat an unusual item you can't find anywhere else.
View on GoogleThis place is the definition of a hidden gem. I've only been twice, but everything is way too delicious. The curry of course, but there are also à la carte dishes, and the firefly squid something-or-other was freaking delicious. The beer wasn't very cold, so I was sad lol
