Nice place and wonderfully arranged but first they don’t indicate that it’s smoking cafe (here literally lots and lots of smokers around) and secondly if you are coming alone they let you sit at the big 8 person table where neighbours don’t bother even to ask regarding smoking. Very bad smell and all in all couldn’t enjoy the cup of royal milk tea which was actually quite ok. don’t recommend the place for non smokers.

I like that you can smoke here. I wish there was an English menu...I wasnt that impressed by the sandwich I ordered but I was in a rush and the service was fast and polite.

One of my favorite places to start the morning in Minamihorie. I come to CAFE FLORIAN almost every morning, and my usual order is buttered toast with iced coffee. It’s a simple combination, but somehow it’s exactly what I want in the morning. I especially love the way the butter melts into the warm, crispy toast, paired with a cold iced coffee. It’s become part of my daily routine, and having breakfast here gives me a nice, relaxing start before work. There are many stylish cafés around Horie, but FLORIAN has a classic, cozy kissaten atmosphere that feels different from the newer cafés. If you’re looking for a relaxed place to have a simple Japanese-style café breakfast around Minamihorie or Kitahorie, I highly recommend stopping by. For me, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back every morning.

Used by two people. We were able to get a table seat at just the right timing. Ordered iced lemon tea (about 550 yen). The taste is not the type to leave a special impression, but the rounded glass is cute and fits the atmosphere of the shop well. During our stay, customers came one after another, and it was full at one point. Since we would have been guided to share a table if necessary, it seems relatively easy to enter if you are alone. The staff's customer service was also polite and made a good impression. Despite being in Minamihorie, it didn't have an atmosphere that was hard to enter due to being too fashionable, but rather gave the impression of an old-fashioned kissaten that is easy to use for everyday purposes. Being able to smoke is also a happy point for smokers. This time we only had drinks, but since there were many reviews saying the curry is delicious, I'd like to try the food next time.
