We had such a wonderful dinner here last night! The restaurant was not very busy, so our food arrived really quickly, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. We ordered the A5 Wagyu beef, which was absolutely outstanding — honestly one of the best pieces of beef we’ve ever had. We also had the spaghetti with clams, and it was delicious. The clams were cleaned very well, and we barely found any sand at all (only in one or two of them), which we really appreciated. As we are staying at the Holiday Inn right next to the restaurant, we also received a 20% discount on our total bill, which was such a lovely bonus. Don’t walk, run and try the A5 beef! P.S.: since this is a halal restaurant, you won’t find anything alcoholic on the menu so it’s good to know that.

Finding halal food in Osaka isn’t easy, so discovering 1819 was truly a blessing. The restaurant is located in Osaka’s business district and took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes to find—but it was absolutely worth the effort. The food was amazing. We ordered the Italian clams, fried chicken wings in coriander sauce, and nasi goreng, and every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. Even the Coke in a glass bottle brought back sweet memories of the 1980s, which was a lovely nostalgic touch. Service was excellent—the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cosy yet elegant. Big respect to Chef Andri for the brave move of opening a halal restaurant in Osaka. Winning an award for Best Halal Restaurant in Osaka is well deserved. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality halal food in Japan.

Had a really great experience at 1819 Osaka! The food was delicious and the portions were satisfying. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. We ordered the Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng, and both were delicious with rich, flavorful spices. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and we even got complimentary Teh Tarik. Most importantly, the prayer room and restroom were very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended! ⭐️

In my 2 nights in Osaka, I spent 2 times eating at 1819 Osaka. I love that theres an Asian fusion option, which was the Udon Lemak Chilli padi and Nasi Lemak, which caters to my southeast Asian taste. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
