My sister and her husband brought me here as a third-stop bar. Since it was the third stop, I couldn't eat much, but the pizza and the crackers topped with fig-infused cheese were exceptionally delicious. Completely finished it. Next time, I'd like to come for the first stop and try various things.

Third visit! I recommend making a reservation before going. This time was my first time on the 2nd floor. It's spacious, a wonderful space, and very relaxing. All the food is delicious, but the pasta is especially recommended! The manager was also a great guy! I definitely want to go again next time I visit Kōrien.

As soon as you are seated, they serve you freshwater clam (shijimi) broth. It gently warms you from inside your body, bringing a happy feeling from the very first sip. Even the appetizer platter has a solid volume, and I was thoroughly satisfied being able to enjoy various flavors a little at a time. The owner is very friendly and easy to talk to. The space, a renovated traditional folk house (kominka), also felt very cozy. 1st floor has counter seats and standing bar seats 2nd floor has sofa seats

Whenever I looked, it was always full, but this place has a 2nd floor. Even if the 1st floor is full, if you call out to them, there's a chance you can get in. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, and the staff provided very polite service. They told us food service would take a little time, but it wasn't slow at all. The consideration was wonderful, the food was delicious, and I want to go again.

Taking over the original owner's shop as the manager for a fresh restart 😊 *The owner is apparently off building an osegue in Awaji Island 😊 They are operating while keeping the popular dishes from the original owner's time, while also introducing the new manager's creative dishes. The interior hasn't changed all that much, but the biggest change is probably that the fish tank is gone? The manager is friendly and looks super earnest 😊 Has a different kind of goodness compared to the owner 👍 Especially, the fig butter became a huge portion ♡ Starting this time, they'll be properly measuring and serving it~ This time, I had the manager's creative salmon roe (ikura) tomato sauce pasta. I wondered if salmon roe and tomatoes go together, but apparently, it's something a little different 💦 And from the perspective of an ikura-lover friend, this is actually "tobiko" (flying fish roe) 💦 I don't really know since I'm not particularly fond of ikura, but 😅 Still, the manager seems to have a wonderful personality, so I'm rooting for them to do their best moving forward 😊
