手打ちうどん 上を向いてUe-wo-Muite
Using 100% Kagawa Prefecture wheat 'Sanuki no Yume'. We provide fresh udon that is freshly rolled, freshly cut, and freshly boiled. Using dough kneaded in the morning, it has less stretch and chewiness, but is finished into stylish noodles with a great throat feel. Please do come and taste it once 😊

I can understand why they’re known for one of the best Udon restaurants in Kansai. Loved the noodle, dashi soup, the shredded radish and the egg topping with Kitsune- the taste was perfect. Can’t completely anything than the long waiting queue.
View on GoogleThis seems to be a famous spot amongst Japanese locals and foreigners haven't really found out about this yet. The staff will take your order as soon as you sit down, so if you are indecisive and don't speak Japanese, I suggest to scroll and translate the menu from other reviews prior to visiting. The udon had an amazing texture—bouncy, chewy, firm, substantive. The chicken tempura was super juicy and unique as well! I can see why this place is so highly rated.

View on GoogleI had the Zaru Udon at "Ue wo Muite"! I was so surprised by how long the noodles were when I picked them up with my chopsticks—it was actually a bit of a challenge to get them into the dipping sauce! They had a great chew (koshi) and a super smooth texture that slid right down. Absolute perfection. I’m definitely coming back for more. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleOrdered the cold kake udon set. I hesitated between that and the cold gyutama. I want to try that next time too. It was insanely delicious. I was deeply moved by how amazing the dashi broth was. The chicken tempura seasoned in two ways was also delicious. Even though there was a line, we were seated relatively quickly. It was delicious. July 2026: Had the cold gyutama. The udon noodles themselves had flavor. Like dashi? I preferred the cold kake, but the cold gyutama was also delicious. It was a weekday, but I was able to get in after about 25 minutes.
