*Closed on May 20, 2018. A shop that opened in December 2017. "TRAUM" claimed to be Japan's first German waffle shop. Huh. (I have no inclination to check the truth of that, so ending it with a 'huh.') The waffles are apparently shaped like 5 hearts lined up. The clerk (maybe the manager?) recommended eating them fresh and hot inside. The eat-in space has 5 counter seats on the right upon entering. There was also a 3-person bench on the left, but this is probably mostly used by takeout customers waiting for their orders to bake. The photo shows it lined up with an ICOCA card for size comparison, though the waffle looks a bit limp and I'm somewhat regretful it didn't turn out great (chuckle). The texture was a chewy type blending a famous chain store's waffle and a thick crepe batter in a 3:7 ratio. Since they seem to have chiffon cakes and crepes as well, I'll try those on another occasion.
View on GoogleA shop specializing in fluffy German waffles. Takeout and eat-in are available, but the recommendation is eat-in where you can enjoy them freshly baked. You often see hungry high school students stopping by after school in the eat-in area. Dads coming home from work buying them as a souvenir for home would likely be delighted too.

View on GoogleI had the matcha and plain waffles. I was lured in by the sweet aroma drifting from the shop ^ ^ I got hooked on the crispy-chewy texture and the cozy atmosphere of the store ✨ It's a shop I want to visit over and over again.
