They grill over charcoal out front, so from waiting for my bento outside (I waited about twenty minutes) until taking it home, the smell was so good it was torture. Eating the sliced thigh meat, the wonderful charcoal-grilled aroma was amazing, and the flavor was faultless! The sauce is poured over the rice too, making it easy to keep eating. The dashimaki tamago was faultless too! There was 1 karaage hidden behind the dashimaki tamago, but that was pretty ordinary, I guess. The skewers were about what you'd expect, I supposeー My conclusion is that I have to go back!
View on GoogleI'd been curious about their lunch, and I finally got to go. The momo ichimai-yaki was super delicious! The meat was tender, the sauce was on the sweet side, and it was really tasty. Apparently you can also turn it into ochazuke with dashi, and when I tried that, it was even better, so I ate almost all of it as ochazuke☺️ The large serving of rice was free, so I tried it, but... it might have been a little insufficient for a big eater. Still, thank you for such great service with prices rising like this. It seemed that the egg costs extra if you get the udon option. The udon was delicious too☺️
View on GoogleI managed to get in without a reservation on my first visit during the weekend rush. I was the driver today, so no alcohol. Had yakitori, individual dishes, and all sorts of things, then called for kamameshi & yuzu salt ramen to finish. Next time I'd like to give it a go with alcohol〜thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleWe had a string of celebrations and wanted yakitori, so we visited. It had been about 12~3 years since our last visit, when our oldest child was around 2. My impression was that they put children first, and many of the staff were pleasant, with a lively atmosphere. We ate our fill of yakitori, momo ichimai-yaki, tori kamameshi, oyakodon, dashimaki tamago, and more. Everything was very delicious. The only exception was the yaki onigiri our child ordered, which had a particularly strong charcoal aroma that seemed a bit much for a small child. One little thing that stood out was the incredibly delicious sauce on the cabbage platter, and the cabbage was crisp and fantastic too. The yakitori—negimi, kawa, hippu, sunagimo, and so on—was all delicious. The kimo had sold out, which was nothing but disappointing for a liver lover like me. They have plenty of takeaway options too, and I'd like to order some next time. The interior felt a little dated, and I think the tables were creaky too. Also, ordering wasn't through a touchscreen or smartphone, which felt a bit inconvenient. I wondered if they value the interaction? But yakitori is a matter of ordering 1 or 2 skewers, so a touchscreen would make it easy to order and add more without feeling awkward. I felt that would be better~
View on GoogleIt was my first visit. It was Christmas, and lots of people, both with and without reservations, were waiting at the entrance. There seemed to be seats available, but not enough staff to seat people, so it looked tough for them. Everything was delicious, the staff were energetic and provided good service, and I had a good impression of the restaurant. I'd like to go again on a quiet weekday.
