First time visiting A popular yakitori restaurant in Kayashima. Located just inside the small shopping street on the west side of Kayashima Station I went late last Saturday and it was completely full so I couldn't get in, so this time I got my revenge on a holiday. It opens at 5:00 PM and when I went around 5:20 PM it was already bustling By a little past 6:00 PM it was packed It might be safer to go early or make a reservation on Fridays and Saturdays First, I ordered the 6-skewer assortment Starting with the heart, it had a great texture and was fresh. Raising my expectations The negima is quite voluminous The texture of the minced cartilage in the tsukune is delicious Beer is already going down easily 😆 sweat - The rolled omelet is fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth - Toriyoshi salad is loaded with crispy skin chips - And being able to eat raw chicken meat is truly unique to a specialty shop The toridon (chicken rice bowl), which I had checked out beforehand through map photos, accompanied by a soup packed with chicken broth, has savory yakitori meat and a generous amount of minced meat inside, all tied together with a sweet sauce. A thin rolled omelet is also laid underneath, making it truly a oyako (parent-and-child) dish It was quite voluminous (Forgot to take a picture!) The interior has a Showa retro atmosphere A small monitor displays a nostalgic Famicom game, bringing back memories J-pop that hits the spot for people in their late 30s to 60s plays in the shop. The owner endlessly breathes out fire 🔥 to grill the chicken, and the two female floor staff brought everything over brightly and briskly, making it a warm atmosphere of a restaurant I found a place in Kayashima where you can thoroughly enjoy chicken ^ ^ I will definitely be a repeat customer Thank you for the meal 😆

Just like other reviews say, the yakitori is delicious. I was surprised that the size of the meat differs depending on the menu item. Inside the shop, there are Showa-era posters and the like pasted on the walls The chicken soup is extremely delicious 🥰

The interior is fully imbued with the Showa vibe, and retro songs from the Showa era play as BGM, making it a comfortable place to enjoy drinks 🍻 The yakitori and sashimi are also top-notch delicious ❣️ The space inside is small, so reservations are recommended.

I've been eating here since I was a child, but the taste remains unchanged and delicious. The owner and employees are cheerful, polite, and make it a comfortable shop!
