サンマルク カフェSaint Marc Cafe - Neyagawa-shi Station
【About Saint Marc Cafe】 The method of grinding the beans after receiving an order, letting them bloom, and then brewing was first introduced in a self-service-style shop by Saint Marc Cafe. Saint Marc Cafe's "ippai-date" (brewed cup by cup) coffee was crafted with a flavor suited to Japanese tastes in mind, finished as a hotel-style coffee with strong body and acidity. Also, the popular Chococro was born at the Shibuya Inokashira-dori store, was widely featured in various media, and quickly became Saint Marc Cafe's big hit product. 【About our freshly baked bread】 It is said that baking bread in a stone oven produces bread that is fluffy, yet moist and full of volume. That is because…

I heard the St Marc's Chococro was famous so I wanted to try it. It's overrated. The packaging makes it look bigger than it actually is too. More than 200円 for one small croissant? The cafe looked like a nice place to take a break at the station however, and the staff were kind enough. (Coffee and natto in the photo are my own and not from the cafe, hahaha)
View on GoogleSince there is a PayPay coupon I go eat once a month. Lunch menu was renewed, hot dogs and pizza toast started. They warmed it in the oven so it was delicious.
View on GoogleUsing this Saint Marc for the first time. Visited in pairs. Ordered limited-time Muscat Smoothie and Melon Smoothie. Chilled to the core of the body on a hot day and delicious. As with Saint Marc anywhere, water is self-service. You go get it yourself. Inside is open seating. There is no wall between outside and inside, but the entrance has a wall. There are quite a few Saint Marcs built like this. The kitchen looks small and I admire how they handle so many customers in such a tight space. Service was polite. Perhaps because I visited at lunchtime it was almost full and the queue didn't stop, constantly lining up. Also, people come and go a lot, and though it's a cafe, the turnover seems good.
View on GoogleThe lunch set photo shows a chococro, but actually you had to pick it up yourself as an extra and paid separately. Ordered the lunch set, and when I asked if chococro was included in the lunch set, with no price explanation, they just gave a blank look and said "please take it from there" and that was it. It's very confusing. If so, I thought it's better not to post a photo with chococro on the set menu. Moreover, even though it's dine-in, there was no heating up, just left as is, no "would you like it warmed?" and they just checked out and handed it over, which was surprising. Usually cafes like this normally heat it up, right? This is the first time for such a shop.
View on GoogleVisited Saint Marc for lunch, there was lunch starting from 540 yen. Now, all seats are non-smoking. Seats are about 30? The store is relaxing, nice. Connected to the supermarket, restroom is close too. Feels good to linger for a long time with 2 friends. Lots of bread and dessert menus, impression that many customers spend time returning from shopping or work. By the way, there were handsome-faced & handsome-voiced staff, and cute staff. Doesn't seem to be PC power plug seats, might not be suitable for working.
