I absolutely loved the ramen here ! So flavorful and the pork was delicious! The cook was amazing and really nice! Had to get picture with my boy! Absolutely my favorite ramen shop in Japan and if you’re traveling in the area this is a shop you have to try! 10/10 will come back to Japan just for this shop alone.

Me and my friends are coming from Los Angeles and we have had ramen in Tokyo, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and this place had the best ramen I had. The place was such a cozy place and the chef is so nice! I cannot recommend this ramen enough, it is like a hug for your stomach.

A restaurant located right in front of Kōrien Station. Having opened in 2013, it has reached the intermediate-to-veteran tier as a ramen shop, but this was my first visit. Even so, the entertainment district around the station has become so quiet with fewer people. It used to be bustling, but tonight every shop was quiet. Counter seats, with table seats in the back. Ordering is verbal. The master reportedly comes from an Italian cuisine background, and multinacional creative menu items are front and center. "Saare Ramen" Clear broth topped with wakame seaweed; it looks Japanese-style at a glance, but the taste and aroma are entirely Italian. While hitting hard with the flavors of anchovies and garlic, it also has a slight vongole-like vibe. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be "light," but the layers of depth and umami are thick, a soup that firmly and precisely conveys the taste of the ingredients. The dignity of the crisp, medium-thin noodles and the tender chashu are also unique. A fun lineup of regular items is available, including tomato, tom yum, sesame, and green curry. Since he seems to have countless tricks up his sleeve, it makes you want to try various things.

Visited on February 21, 2026. Their signature tomato ramen was peerless and exceptional 😋 While the exterior shows a bit of age, tissues are placed under every table, and the toilet is kept impeccably clean, showing great care. The master's hospitality was also great!

A ramen shop located about a 2-minute walk from Keihan Kōrien Station. Run by the master and his mother. The master trained in Italian cuisine and excels at creative ramen. Ordered their most popular tomato ramen for 750 yen. Since it takes a different approach from regular ramen, I position it as a change-of-pace ramen for every once in a while. Other than the tomato puree soup, there wasn't anything particularly distinctive about it. [June 30, 2026] First visit in about 3 years since last time. Before coming here, I stopped by a ramen shop in Osaka city, but the portion wasn't enough, so I came back to my hometown to fill my stomach. Ordered Saare's most popular tomato ramen for 800 yen. Just like last time, it felt uninspiring. Will this time be the last, I wonder?
