A bit heavy on the spice. Delicious nonetheless!
View on GoogleIt was a cozy time with an extensive menu in a standing-drink style ❣️ My companion wanted to drink while casually eating Korean food, so we visited for the first time after drinking thoroughly. Since we went out of our way, we started with "Makgeolli", and went for "Korean seaweed", "Chijimi", and "Sundubu". It was basically a standing-drink style, with an unusual rule that they provide chairs for a fee (260 yen?). Since I would probably stay long if I sat, I spent it standing. Talked about old times with the master, and was able to spend a comfortable time just over two thousand yen and less than an hour of stay time ❣️ Thanks for the meal.
View on Google🍖 [Stand Obani] 🍺 "Simmered Horumon (Both)" 480 yen First-timers should definitely recommend both to anyone! 'Both' means both horumon and tofu. Naturally the deliciousness of horumon, but the tofu is ridiculously delicious ( ゚Д゚)UMA Thoroughly soaked tofu is nothing less than an alcohol thief, isn't it (laughs) 🍺 "Steamed Pork" So-called bossam. This sauce and kimchi bring out a great taste again! 🍺 "Tom Yum Goong Style Shrimp Cocktail" 500 yen I forgot to record it a bit, but I think the seasoning was like the sweet chili sauce typical of Vietnam (sorry for being too casual lol) 🍺 "Date Yakisoba" ? yen Date yakisoba happened to be inside the delivery package that arrived, and when I heard from the master that delicious yakisoba could be made, of course I ordered it (laughs) The thin noodles mix with the sauce and it's ridiculously delicious (*'꒳`*) Moreover, they served it with Yamatsu Tsujita's yuzu shichimi from a famous shop in Sakai, and combining them is a sure way to be delicious ( ゚Д゚)UMA 🍺 The master and his wife were both friendly and it was a very fun shop (*'꒳`*) 🍺
View on GoogleThe restaurant I came to visit this time is "OBANI" in Kori-en ♂️ Formerly operating for 19 years as an authentic Korean restaurant, it's a shop that changed to standing-drink operations starting last year ✨ Obani sounds somewhat Korean, but the origin is the master's nickname ✨ Although it's standing, if you pay a chair fee or seat charge of 280 yen per person, you can sit and eat leisurely as usual ✨ Ordered menu Camembert cheese semi-dried fruit tomato : 480 yen Today's okaki : 150 yen Today's chocolate : 300 yen Japchae : 400 yen Chijimi : 500 yen Simple cold noodles : 420 yen ※For reference ✨ Weekday 20:48 Arrived at store / Ordered (No wait / 4 prior customers) ✨ 20:53 First dish arrived 22:30 Left store ✨ ※Previously operating as authentic Korean cuisine, starting last year it became a rare standing bar operation in Kori-en and became a bustling shop centered around locals ✨ It's a standing bar, but you can sit ✨ However, you can sit if you pay the 280 yen seat charge ✨ If you stand, you don't even need that ✨ Run by a married couple, they seem particular about purchasing in order to have customers eat delicious food ✨ The combination of cold noodle bonito dashi and acidity along with Morioka cold noodle-like noodle chewiness allows you to slurp it down smoothly ✨ Today's okaki and chocolate, which are perfect as bar snacks, are also available ✨ As for drinks, the mega size is unexpectedly a 1-liter mug ✨ However, since you are often begged to drink together, the mega size and the master & mistress drinks × several cups during your stay add up to quite a hefty amount 😅 I visited several times and drank quite a bit with a companion, but when it came to 1 or 2 snacks and 3 mega drinks each, it reached tens of thousands of yen... Ended up being lectured by my partner, saying never go again! 😅 As a stand, grabbing a quick drink and food and going home happily with friends might be good ✨ *Smoking allowed shop
View on GoogleA Korean standing izakaya located a 3-minute walk from Kori-en. It has changed to a standing izakaya, but you can also sit down by paying a fee. There are plenty of menu items, ranging from classic chijimi, kimchi, coriander, etc. to yakisoba, ramen, etc.
