A shop found while exploring Korien ✨✨ A shop located in a residential area a bit away from the station ✨ I had never passed through this neighborhood so I got lost at first w When entering the shop, it seemed to be run by a couple, and they served us cold water in a tumbler ✨ I was hungry, so from the numerous menu items I chose ● Katsudon: 650 yen ● Butatama (Pork okonomiyaki): 500 yen I ordered ✨ Since there were few reviews and I had seen okonomiyaki in photos, that was within expectations, but the katsudon was... unexpected w First to arrive was the katsudon! ✨ Miso soup and pickles are also set, and above all, the volume is amazing ☺️ ✨ A large cutlet simmered in egg in a broth-drenched katsudon ✨✨ Since it's a freshly fried cutlet, it's crispy and tender, and soaked in dashi, making it insanely delicious ☺️ ✨ No, just this alone feels like it'll fill me up w 650 yen for this volume felt like price destruction w Next, the butatama arrived ✨ Although slightly small, it's cut into a grid pattern making it easy to eat, and it's a fluffy, very nostalgic-feeling Osaka okonomiyaki ✨ 500 yen for this is way too cheap ☺️ ✨✨ Draft beer is also reasonably priced at 500 yen, but it's a pity it wasn't frosty cold and was just a tiny bit lukewarm... Discovered an ultra-hidden gem set meal shop right around Korien Station!!
View on GoogleVisited around 12:00 PM on a weekday. There was only 1 preceding customer. Ordered the katsudon. Soup-drenched wasn't quite my preference, but the cutlet and dashi broth were exceptionally delicious. It would have been even better if something green was included, but the accompanying miso soup matched my palate and was delicious. It seems like it would be super easy to casually drop in, so I'd love to pop in casually even at night.
View on GoogleIt was in the neighborhood and I was curious, but I hesitated thinking, 'Is this a gathering place for locals?', but made up my mind and entered! I had the tendon (tempura rice bowl)! Two shrimp for 650 yen! The flavor wasn't too strong and it was delicious!
View on GoogleThe seasoning is exquisite! It goes well with rice and also goes well as an accompaniment to drinks! It's a taste I've been eating since I was a kid, but it's evolving (*^^)v
View on GoogleFirst of all, the price is cheap! And delicious!! The highball is recommended 👍
