The chicken paitan rich ramen here had a clear flavor and was very delicious. Despite being rich, the taste was light, gentle, and refined. Also, it comes with steamed chicken on top, which had absolutely no unpleasant smell and a very refined taste. They seem to value homemade food, and the lightly pickled broccoli and kimchi were also habit-free and very delicious. The shop owner was soft-spoken, gentle, and wonderful.
View on GoogleI'm grateful that they are open late at night! Ordered the light ramen and gyoza. As for the ramen, first of all, the soup is lukewarm. True to its description as a traditional old-school flavor, it has a comforting taste just like that. The noodles are straight, but a bit powdery, and because the soup is lukewarm, the noodles cool down rapidly, causing them to get soggy quickly. The bamboo shoots (menma) don't seem particularly special. I'm glad there are plenty of green onions included. Overall, the taste is at an amateur level. If they study hard, it should easily get much better! The owner's soft-spoken customer service was exceptionally wonderful! That's precisely why I really want this shop to do its best. I'm glad they have a few small side dishes and offer beer, chu-hi, and Japanese sake! I might want to drop by next time mainly for drinks. Keep polishing the flavor and do your best! ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Second visit. This time for the rich ramen. Another late-night visit this time. Unlike last time, there was a group of young customers, and it was almost full. The owner was rushing around making food while sweating all over. Since I only wanted to eat the rich ramen, I called out, 'You can do mine later.' The owner thanked me looking extremely apologetic. About 10 minutes, I guess. The rich ramen and karaage I ordered came out. Considering how busy he looked, it came out pretty fast. The karaage was chicken breast with a light batter (in many places the batter didn't even coat it), and the seasoning wasn't too strong—a great flavor! The ramen had a concentration where the soup was almost thick, truly living up to the 'rich' description! Compared to my previous light ramen visit, the soup temperature was better, and the noodles were a bit firm, I suppose. Well, not enough to bother me that much. The soup flavor... It just had an oily richness, with little depth or umami. I think if they boiled down the soup with a few more vegetables, it would add even more depth. I think this ramen still has room for improvement. Finally, with words like 'Sorry for running around in a rush' and the owner's pleasant smile, I went home satisfied. Since they operate during convenient hours, I'll continue to use them occasionally.
View on GoogleNot only is the ramen delicious, but the recommended seasonal ingredients at the time are also fresh and tasty. A wonderful ramen shop where you can also eat sashimi and liver. I also love their kasujiru (sake lees soup) and limited-edition ramen.
View on GoogleI ate the rich ramen. It was very delicious. It's better to go once without trusting reviews ~
