Clean feel, and friendly. They are also very attentive. I go often, and people dropping by casually often come in too. It's plenty good to be able to eat such delicious sushi in Neyagawa. If you want anything more than that, I think you should just go to Kitashinchi or somewhere.
View on GoogleVisited at night in December 2018. Originally a shop on the bus street, but relocated to Bell-Dori Shopping Street (former site of German Pharmacy). Since there are only 10 counter seats, making a phone reservation is better. Starting with the filefish recommended by a friend, oysters, seared nodoguro, slender halfbeak, etc. Everything was delicious. Even if you eat your fill, it's a reasonable 3000 to 4000 yen per person. Run cheerfully and harmoniously by the chef, his son, and the proprietress. It seems like a place regulars visit frequently, but I think you can go without feeling intimidated.
View on GoogleNothing you eat is a miss, and the seared nodoguro and splendid alfonsino are especially superb.
View on GoogleAfter relocation, the interior is bright and overflowing with a clean feel. The older master has retired, and the son has become the sole artisan, but they are working hard with the same variety of neta and number of menus as before. Of course the taste is wonderful, faithful to the basics of nigiri sushi, and I have never been "let down." It's a shop that serves the sharpest sushi in front of Neyagawa Station. Considering the neta and taste, I think it's reasonable.
View on GoogleThe chef here changes his attitude depending on who he looks at! It's unpleasant how obvious the attitude difference is. Since it's a counter, it's very clear. The taste isn't outstandingly good either. Or rather, maybe the chef's attitude made the sushi taste bad. That attitude standing in front of customers is no good! If you can't handle customer service properly, why don't you retreat inside and make sushi? Is what I thought. It feels like it's running solely on regular customers (lol).
