First visit to a Kagoshima local chicken restaurant I've been curious about for a long time 🐔 It has an atmosphere that's easy to enter even for a solo diner, but inside, the regulars were lively and bustling. It might not be suited for those who want to eat quietly. Ordered "Jidori Momo Tataki" (seared local chicken thigh) and "Momo no Aburi" (charcoal-grilled local chicken thigh). Both feature a characteristic "crunchy" texture, and the more you chew, the more you can taste the umami unique to local chicken. However, the accompanying ponzu sauce and soy sauce were both quite strong, giving the impression that they slightly masked the flavor of the meat. I felt that if it were eaten with refreshing condiments or salt, its appeal would stand out even more. 👉 Recommended for those who want to drink alcohol with a solid, strong flavor 🍶 Conversely, those who want to thoroughly enjoy the flavor of the local chicken itself might find more satisfaction by being creative with how they eat it.

View on GoogleI always go whenever I return to Osaka!! My favorites are the Jidori Momo Tataki, Mune-Pon Negiyaki (seared chicken breast with ponzu and green onions), and Local Chicken and Avocado Mayo Flavor with Caviar ♪ It's a shop I actually don't want to tell anyone about (laughs), but I wrote a review because I also want to support them. I'll come again.

View on GoogleAn izakaya specializing in chicken dishes located along Prefectural Route 18 in Kida-cho, Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture. It's a shop that has been around for years, but surprisingly this is my first post. Therefore, despite being along the prefectural road, it's a hidden gem loved by a limited fanbase. Since my daughters are coming home late today, I visited bringing my son along. What we had this time: ① Jidori Momo Tataki ¥790 The fresh local chicken is crunchy and exquisite ♪ ② Kawa-sashi (Raw Chicken Skin) ¥420 The plump skin wrapped in charcoal aroma is irresistible ♪ ③ Local Chicken and Avocado Mayo Flavor with Caviar ¥790 Avocado wrapped in chicken breast sashimi. The saltiness of the caviar is exquisite ♪ ④ Juicy Karaage (Fried Chicken) ¥690 + Rice ¥150 Super delicious fried chicken with a slight hint of ginger ♪ Pairs great with rice! ⑤ Jidori-don (Local Chicken Rice Bowl) ¥850 x 2 The crunchy charcoal-grilled local chicken is delicious ♪ Oolong Tea ¥150 x 2 Total ¥4,840 Since I had never let my son eat raw chicken sashimi before, he was raving about it (laughs). If you ask the fans, some evaluate it as the best place to eat local chicken in Neyagawa, and that might not be far from wrong. Run by an elderly gentleman by himself, each dish is cooked sequentially so it takes a little time to be served, but if you're snacking while drinking, the pace might be just right. It was extremely delicious (^-^) #OsakaPrefectureNeyagawaCity #NeyagawaCityIzakaya #DeliciousLocalChicken #ExquisiteKaraage #DeliciousChickenSashimi #JidoriyaOnidori
