First time visiting 'Kyo Oden Futakuchi', located about a 4-minute walk from Kourien Station ₍₍ ◝(●˙꒳˙●)◜ ₎₎ There are various eateries along this street, and it's full of places where you can casually drop by for a quick drink ✨✨ 'Oden 5-Piece Assortment' for 600 yen includes daikon radish, egg, fried tofu, gobo tempura, and konjac, and they also have various sake ✨ The oden has a good dashi flavor, but if I had to say, it would have been even better if the broth had soaked in more (๑•̀ ₃ •́๑)‼ The fried fox tofu for 200 yen was also super good ✨ Curry is also listed as a signature menu, so I ordered the 'Nabeyaki Curry' (pot-cooked curry) ✨ It was very spicy and personally quite hot 🤣

Feels like an adult izakaya where you can enjoy refined flavors and alcohol. The taste of the dashi broth sinking into the refreshing profile is irresistible, but note that this is the polar opposite of Osaka's heavy, rich flavors.
