Super delicious curry 🍛 Went to check out a shop I'd always been curious about, located at the Kiya-Minami intersection on Route 1 in Osaka Kourien ❣️ Some of you must have been curious about it too 😁✨ Though in business for 14 years, it's a hidden gem with few reviews yet ☝️ Walking in, you find a counter with the warmth of wood and table seating ✨ The master is also kind, creating a relaxing atmosphere ✨ Abundant menu with lots of curry varieties, and katsu skewers are also recommended along with advantageous set options 😁🍺🉐 (Refer to the menu chart) What I chose was: ❤️ Fried Vegetable Curry 980 yen Vegetables that change by season 🥬 Includes fried veggies like lotus root, eggplant, sweet potato, potato, and green pepper, plus a fresh salad ✨ The curry roux is fruity, contains meat, and is super delicious 😋😍 ❤️ Pork Loin Katsu Curry 1380 yen Crispy katsu paired with a fruity roux is top-tier 😋🐷🍛 You can add toppings, make it spicy, and there's even children's curry, making it a shop that works for families or solo drinking ✨ Looks amazing, full of menu items I want to eat, definitely a repeat visit ❣️ Will go again ~ ❤️
View on GoogleVisited past 7 PM on a weekday. The space has about a counter and 2 tables? Had the fried vegetable curry. Very delicious. It's a watery curry. That aspect too suited my preference. Also, the salad was plated together. The master was also a very kind person. Next time he recommended the keema. Will come eat it. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleAigake Curry (two-flavor curry) 1500 yen The keema curry is a watery curry based on tomatoes with mild spices, and the tomato flavor lingers too strongly, lacking the feel of a keema curry. The regular curry seems to be made with a beef tendon-based dashi broth, but this is also on the watery side. Even considering the amount and size of the beef tendon included, it's minimal, so as a soup dashi it lacks depth, and the meat is just a few small floating bits not worth appreciating. Since the base spices are similar for both, it's a tomato-based watery minced meat curry and a beef tendon-based watery curry, so personally I wasn't moved. There's a large Times parking lot across the main road, but there's no parking service. Won't be revisiting, but curry is a matter of personal preference so I suppose some people like it. It just didn't suit me particularly.
View on GoogleFinally able to come. My timing often didn't match even though I always walk past it. Today I had the tenderloin katsu curry (400g) made spicy. The shop is small with a counter and 2 table seats. Normal is 200g, and large size is free up to 400g. I could handle the curry even in spicy mode. If you're bad with spicy food, you should choose medium spicy. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleA shop I've been curious about and wanted to go to; it was closed often during the state of emergency, but I finally managed to visit. The interior isn't very large, with 4 counter seats and 2 tables, and half of those were disabled for COVID prevention, so practically half that seating. Walking in, I got the impression of a drinking establishment rather than a diner. Since their sign loudly boasts katsu skewers, I was looking forward to katsu skewers, but there were no katsu skewers on the menu. Once COVID calms down and they can serve alcohol, katsu skewers might appear on the menu. Operating on the philosophy of eating what I want rather than the shop's signature menu, I ordered the chicken soboro keema curry. It had a nice spice kick and was delicious. There is barely enough parking space for 1 car, but parking is pretty difficult anyway. A good shop with a cheerful master.
