からあげ本舗 たかはし商店寝屋川店Karaage Honpo Takahashi Shoten Neyagawa Mise
Our karaage is handmade in-store every day. Freshly cut chicken is marinated overnight in our special soy sauce marinade, and each piece is coated by hand before frying. Fried until crisp, it's crunchy on the outside and packed with savory chicken flavor on the inside — our signature karaage.

The karaage comes in salt and soy sauce flavors. I guess they mainly do takeout bento! I got the salt-flavored karaage on its own to go, and the inside wasn't cooked through. A bit disappointing.
View on GoogleI always get the savory salt karaage bento (extra large). The karaage is really tender and super delicious. The staff seem fresh and new, but they leave a good impression.
View on GoogleI got takeout. Cheerful, energetic staff sell bento and such at the storefront. I'd been curious about this place for a while and was waiting for a chance to try it. You can pay with PayPay or cash. I took home a 500 yen (tax included) bento and heated it in the microwave at 500W for 1 minute. The seasoning, texture, and portion were really well balanced. Recommended. It came with a wet towel, chopsticks, and a plastic bag, but I regretted not declining them since I was eating at home. With value and taste this good, it makes sense that they can sell it loudly and confidently. I plan to come back regularly. The last one left turned out to be a lucky find. It was the "Tori Ben" for 450 yen. The karaage is flawless. I don't like things greasy and overly salty, so this crispy, juicy karaage was really delicious. I also thought it was just the right amount for lunch when the heat kills your appetite. The chicken rice is seasoned more strongly than I expected, so I think the balance between rice and sides works well. When I cook for myself I only go as far as steaming, stir-frying, or low-temperature cooking, so I rarely eat "fried food." It made me appreciate once again how delicious professionally made karaage is.
View on GoogleThey also have fried shrimp and fries. The karaage was really big, filling, and delicious. Some have a nice garlic kick too and go great with rice. The egg soup is so good you'd never guess it's complimentary. You get coupons if you add them as a LINE friend, and the staff were polite and nice. It's close to the station so it's easy to get to by train. Recommended!
View on GoogleThe karaage is really delicious. Basically there's just one staff member handling everything from serving customers to cooking, so service is slow and you wait quite a long time after coming in before they take your order. Or rather than waiting, they just don't come until you call them. I don't mind waiting, but nothing is said about it at all, as if it's taken for granted, which is a little disappointing. Also, I've never once been asked about using a coupon or point card, so they're a bit hard to use.
