Neyagawa City, Osaka. Over 30 years in business. 5-minute walk from the station. A wide selection of yakitori, fried foods, and a la carte dishes. Equipped with a drink bar and kids' space, this yakitori restaurant makes both adults and children feel comfortable with warm customer service. Visited on Friday, March 2025, at 6:30 PM. Reserved the 4,500 yen adult course for 15 people. The 1st floor has a counter and tatami seating near the front. Past the restroom, there are private table seating areas in the back. The 2nd floor has tatami seating, etc. The 1st floor allows smoking. The 2nd floor is non-smoking. 4-5 staff members. ■ Interior ■ The 1st-floor table private room seems to be a room that can hold up to 30 people. We were able to have it as a private buyout for 15 people, which was very appreciated. Hangars are available on the walls. Luggage was placed on leftover tables and chairs. The main tables are equipped with a trick mechanism to change size. After arriving early, the manager kindly asked if we needed to change the layout. Ultimately, we set up 3 tables of 5 people each. Retro background music played at low to medium volume. There is also a television. 1 shared restroom. There is a step near the restroom. ■ Order ■ *Tax included Includes 90-minute all-you-can-drink. Glass exchange system. Soft drinks are the same. Bottled beer is Asahi Super Dry. Adult plan: - Edamame - Cabbage with salt sauce - Crunch french fries - Fried burdock root - Fried young chicken - Assorted yakitori (4 skewers) Tsukune, heart, negima, thigh - Select 2 dishes - Chicken zosui (rice porridge) The 2-selection dishes were decided in advance, and we informed them of 30 dishes for 15 people the day before. Ordering on the day is also fine. - Corn tempura ★ - Cucumbers with plum paste - Chilled tofu with kimchi - Tsukimi tsukune ★ - Rolled omelet without rolling ★ - Chilled tomato *Items with ★ are recommended ■ Summary ■ Overall impression: many of the dishes are simple, rustic, and familiar. There are a lot of fried foods overall, so we balanced it out with the 2 selected dishes. For the yakitori, both the sauce and the meat are delicious, so ordering extras if you run short is a good option. Since there is a drink bar, children from other floors occasionally come over. By the way, for the adult plan, you can't use the drink bar yourself; the staff makes the drinks. Since we could use the venue for 15 people, we could use a lot of space, freely swap seats, and everyone getting hyped was the best part! And the customer service and attentiveness of the manager and staff were great! It was my first time using it, but I was able to spend time with peace of mind! I thought I'd like to eat just the yakitori slowly at the counter! Payment by PayPay. Thank you for the meal (*^^^*)
View on GoogleWhen you hear Kandagawa, you tend to associate it with Iron Chef, but this is Yakitori Kandagawa in Kourien. However, just in terms of yakitori taste, it's on par with Iron Chef. It's ridiculously delicious... and cheap. Truly the Iron Chef of yakitori! The assorted yakitori can be ordered as a salt and sauce mix, or all salt, or all sauce. The grilling degree and preparation are great, and no matter what you eat, it's truly delicious. The storefront atmosphere is also nice, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly. There are private rooms on the 2nd floor, making it a favorite restaurant you can enjoy either alone or in a group.
View on GoogleA yakitori restaurant located along the Keihan railway tracks, about a 3-minute walk from Keihan Kourien Station. I knew of the shop's existence from the windows of the Keihan train, but this was my first visit. A long-established shop operating for 31 years including the previous generation. Stopped by alone on a weekday evening and ordered 8 skewers for 1,200 yen, seared Takumi chicken thigh (tatami style) for 750 yen, leek yukhoe-style for 450 yen, and a little alcohol. There are no gimmicky skewers; they are all simple skewers, yet delicious precisely because the grilling technique is exquisite. What I personally liked was the seared Takumi chicken thigh. The crispy seared chicken skin sensation was irresistible. Everything was delicious, so I ended up adding stir-fried Wagyu beef tendon for 600 yen and the staff's recommended chicken thigh cutlet skewer for 300 yen. The staff are outgoing. There are quite a number of yakitori restaurants in Kourien, and while I haven't visited them all, this is definitely in the top tier.
View on GoogleA yakitori restaurant that I've been curious about due to its retro Showa-era vibe and red lanterns. The chicken ham appetizer is extremely delicious. All the yakitori was delicious, but the bonjiri (tail meat) was my favorite. It was bustling with regular customers, giving off the feel of a yakitori restaurant loved by the local community.
View on GoogleVisited with my family. No photos, but it was ridiculously delicious! (I was so hungry I didn't have the spare capacity to take photos, lol) A female staff member greeted us with a smile, making a great first impression from the start! The owner was also intently facing the charcoal fire, and the delicious aroma was spilling out even outside the shop. We had an elementary school child with us, but they showed us to the tatami seating and it was very comfortable. The appetizer, assorted skewers, mentai potato, unrolled rolled omelet, and so on... the drinks went down so easily that I drank way more than usual. The chicken tataki was too delicious. I'm fully satisfied to have finally eaten yakitori with a solid charcoal aroma after a long time. It was just over 10,000 yen for 3 family members, but I felt this was a shop that is fully worth spending 10,000 yen on, or rather, a cheap one! I'll come again when I crave yakitori! Thank you very much!
