Visited in the evening. Ordered 2 servings of gyoza, beer, and egg soup. The 'Gyoza' (310 yen x 2) are on the smaller, bite-sized side. They have thin wrappers with a crispy surface. The filling inside is packed with vegetables. A light style with a prominent garlic kick. Finished both servings in no time. They were very delicious gyoza. Phone calls for takeout reservations were coming in continuously. It was very clear that this is a gyoza restaurant deeply loved by the locals. Thank you for the meal 😄

Osaka Kourien 'Gyoza Yuta' Tabelog 100 Best Restaurants I had been wanting to try Marusho Gyoza once, but they don't do lunch.... So I went to the shop of a chef who trained at Marusho! Arrived right at the Saturday 11 AM opening. First in line, no other waiting customers. The parking lot was also empty, lucky! The parking lot is the large space next to the shop, spots #17 and #18. Walking into the shop, they were wrapping gyoza so the aroma of garlic filled the air, which is amazing! Inside, there are 6 counter seats. They also have a gyoza lunch set, but I didn't need the soup or pickles, so I ordered 3 servings of gyoza and rice. What is this appetite, man—it's that loop of losing weight only to gain it back again 🆔( Wait about 15 minutes and the gyoza are served! These are thin-skinned gyoza with a crispy grilled side and a moist, chewy sealed side. Exactly the kind I like, with a punchy garlic kick. However, there is less juiciness and greasiness. Because of that, you can eat as many of these gyoza as you want! Instead of having them with rice at lunch, I'd ultimately love to enjoy them with a beer (≧∀≦) For the punchy garlic, they use Fukuchi White low-odor garlic produced in Aomori Prefecture—an excellent item that has a strong aroma when eating, but leaves no smell afterward!

I visited 'Gyoza no Yuta' in Neyagawa, which I had been curious about. This time I ordered the gyoza, egg soup, rice, and grandma's lightly pickled cucumbers. The signature gyoza were crispy and savory on the outside, juicy on the inside, and very delicious. They paired exceptionally well with the rice, and I ended up eating two bowls of rice. I think it's a simple yet highly satisfying combination. The egg soup had a gentle flavor that paired well with the gyoza, making it a dish that tied the whole meal together nicely. Grandma's lightly pickled cucumbers were also refreshing and made a great palate cleanser between bites of gyoza. The interior has a down-to-earth, calm atmosphere, allowing me to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. I feel I understand why it's a comforting, homely restaurant loved by the locals. I'd love to visit again if I'm in the neighborhood.

Visited during lunchtime! It's a short walk from Kourien Station. The interior is a cozy space with counter seating only, welcoming you with a homey atmosphere. I ordered the lunch set (2 servings of gyoza, rice, soup, and pickles). Though small, the gyoza had a pleasant, crispy thin skin, and the filling inside had a great punch of ginger and low-odor garlic with solid umami! With plenty of vegetables, they were light yet satisfying, and before I knew it, my chopsticks wouldn't stop—one bite, then another. The homemade chili oil on the table was also aromatic, and adding just a little changed the flavor profile, allowing me to enjoy it without getting tired of it until the very end. It seems it might get full during peak lunch hours, but these carefully grilled gyoza are well worth the wait. It's easy to see why they've been loved by locals for a long time! It's a bit far from the station, but it's a place I want to visit again! Thank you for the meal!

Went just before 2 PM on a weekday, there was no line and I walked right in. The lunch set consists of 2 servings of gyoza, rice, egg soup, and pickles, and that's the only thing on the regular menu as well. Since I wanted beer with my gyoza and didn't need rice, I ordered 2 servings of gyoza à la carte. 'Gyoza' (310 yen x 2) Not quite bite-sized, but slightly smaller gyoza with thin wrappers and a crispy surface. The filling inside is packed with vegetables, low on meat juice, feeling almost like a vegetable gyoza with a strong garlic punch. After eating the first one, I felt a bit underwhelmed due to the lack of meatiness, but as I kept eating, this flavor became delicious and unstoppable. Finished 2 servings in no time. Thank you for the meal
