Tuesday at 5:15 PM, 3 groups of customers. At first glance, it looks like a town Chinese restaurant, but the menu says "Restaurant of Shanghairo Chinese Cuisine Head Chef." It's a small shop with 3 tables and 5 counter seats. I had the mapo tofu and gyoza. The aroma of the mapo tofu is authentic. The aroma of Sichuan pepper (sichuan pepper) is fully present, but the numbness is weak. The spiciness is about medium-hot of store-bought sauce. A unique sweetish sauce with chopped dried shiitake mushrooms. If the numbing-spicy kick was a bit stronger, it would hit my strike zone. 寿司 The gyoza has high moisture and is baked fluffy, with a characteristic melt-in-your-mouth feel. Ginger comes through strongly.
View on GoogleI casually dropped by with a few friends. Thinking 750 yen for tenshinhan and 900 yen for mapo tofu was a bit pricey? But the seasoning was good, the portions were generously large, and I was able to enjoy it deliciously with zero complaints. I don't have photos, but the Cantonese yakisoba was exceptionally delicious and I'd love to come back to eat it again.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch on the weekend. Looks like an ordinary Chinese restaurant. A Chinese mama-san provided kind and friendly customer service. We went as a pair and ordered fried rice, mapo rice bowl, fried chicken, and pan-fried gyoza. The fried rice was a bit mushy, but it had a nostalgic, original fried rice feel and was delicious. The mapo rice bowl also had a solid flavor with the kick of Sichuan pepper and was delicious. What was surprisingly delicious with a brand new texture I'd never had before was the pan-fried gyoza. Even though it's pan-fried gyoza, it was as juicy as boiled gyoza, and it made my chopsticks keep moving! I want to try other menu items, so I'd definitely like to visit again(^^) Thank you for the meal ☆
View on GoogleFeels like a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Entirely ordinary, but the friendly woman and the taciturn master(?) create a nice vibe that makes you want to go again.
View on GoogleThe mapo tofu and ankake yakisoba were amazingly delicious! Each and every portion is quite large, so be careful when ordering!
