◆Tabelog: Nekoshi ◆Instagram: nekoshi310 (Nekoshi Sato) This is a reposted article. [Crowd level] Arrived at 11:50 AM on a public holiday, no other customers yet. After 12:00 PM, about four people arrived and it was almost full, but not to the point of having a line. The BGM is of course playing Yazawa, a small ramen shop with only a counter that makes you feel Yazawa's love. I prepared by studying previous reviews, and the premium chashu ramen looks delicious. Looking at the photos in previous reviews, the chashu looks like my favorite type, so I came with high expectations for the chashu. Therefore, I ordered this one where you can fully enjoy the chashu. ◆Premium Chashu Ramen (Medium) without garlic Tax included: 1,450 yen Taking a sip of the soup sent a shock through me. As a huge fan of the now-defunct Fukushogun, this was exactly the tonkotsu flavor I had been searching for! Shall we call it a light tonkotsu unique to Osaka rather than heavy tonkotsu? It's a wonderful soup that feels gentle yet has a solid umami flavor. Looking at previous reviews, it says tonkotsu shoyu, but perhaps the shoyu is kept to a minimum, and I barely felt any shoyu, which was great. Actually, tonkotsu shoyu is my least favorite among ramen, but this soup doesn't feel like tonkotsu shoyu. The taste of light tonkotsu feels exquisite to me, and it's very close to the flavor of the now-defunct Fukushogun, a soup with a flavor I've been chasing ever since Fukushogun closed down. It's also a nice touch that my lips stuck together from the collagen(?) after eating. Since it's not Kyushu tonkotsu, the medium-thick curly noodles, rather than ultra-thin, are ideal. I don't like ultra-thin noodles. The chashu is probably a type simmered and finished in a sweet and spicy sauce. It looked that way because the edges were black. The taste of this chashu is also close to Fukushogun, but I wish the meat quality was just a little better. It's a chashu where the fibrous texture is a bit bothersome because there's little meat juice, but the flavor made by simmering sweet and spicy sauce is my favorite kind of chashu ^^ I'm sure you've figured out that I'm picky about various things, but I think the flavor will appeal to people who like Fukushogun's ramen ♪ It came as a set with rice, but since the soup is delicious, it was delicious to dip the rice on the spoon into the soup and eat it. It was very delicious ramen and I was quite satisfied with the taste, but the master's nagging towards the female floor staff was excessive and bothered me. Mother's service was definitely not stressful and actually good, but the chef's standards seem to be quite high. If you read this, please refrain from nagging while customers are present. Anyway, with the very delicious ramen and chashu, my satisfaction level was high ♪ Thank you for the meal!

A weekday off starts from the morning crossing the Yodogawa Bridge and wandering around the Asahi Ward area. For lunch, walking from Takii to Shuraku in Saigodori, Moriguchi City. An old-established Osaka tonkotsu shop that everyone in the Osaka ramen world knows. The current Shuraku is the second generation, whose apprentice inherited that flavor. Although it is easier to get to than the first-generation store located in a residential area, the current store is still located far from the private railway line. I decided to finally visit on this occasion of crossing the Yodogawa Bridge. Since it was right after opening, I was seated with no wait outside. Immediately after, more customers arrived and the counter-only shop was almost full. Premium Chashu Ramen (Rice & Pickles Free) The menu consists of basic lineups of special, chuka, and miso, set meals with rice and pickles (kimchi) for various ramen, premium chashu ramen with upgraded chashu, and side dishes like gyoza. I'm also curious about the miso, but this time I ordered the premium chashu ramen. Premium chashu ramen can be made into a set meal for free. At the time of ordering, I was asked about the presence of garlic and the amount of rice. I asked for garlic and a light portion of rice. Served in less than 5 minutes. The rice is served on a plate. The yellowish fat layer on the surface of the soup is just to my liking. There are plenty of at least 7 slices of chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions. A soup rich in fat, likely derived from back fat. It's light yet has a solid bone broth. Moderate salinity, tonkotsu flavor umami, and richness make it delicious. The noodles are the familiar yellow medium-thin slightly wavy noodles of Chinese restaurants. They smoothly carry the tonkotsu into the mouth. The chashu is probably shoulder and belly. Is it well-grilled, or fried and then simmered? Melt-in-your-mouth fat, moist and flavorful fibrous parts. Extremely delicious. Naturally, I enjoyed the chashu together with rice topped with kimchi. As a roll-eater, the only regrettable point was that it couldn't be wrapped. Honestly, I don't care about that. It was a top-tier, deliciously unbeatable set of chashu ramen. Why didn't I come sooner, myself? Thank you for the meal 🙏

The photos of the reviews on Google Maps looked delicious, so I went to check it out. When I arrived about 10 minutes after opening, it was already full. Called out by the clerk, I ordered the Premium Chashu Ramen Set (with garlic) and gyoza. Seated in about 5 minutes, and the ramen was brought out at the same time. I was hungry so I appreciated that! The soup has zero funky animal smell, yet it's a light tonkotsu packed with tonkotsu umami. The chashu is topped with 7 thick, soft slices soaked in flavor, and eating this 'on the rice' is super delicious. Osaka has seen an increase in various genres of ramen, but this is the most delicious Osaka ramen (light tonkotsu) I've ever had. I'd love to repeat my visit.

20260319 First visit. This time I ordered the "Special Ramen". A rich tonkotsu soup packed with thick umami that soaks into the body. The noodles are medium-thick straight with a low hydration rate, pairing exceptionally well with the soup. The chashu topping consists of 3 small yet thick slices that are well-flavored and chewy. Bean sprouts and green onions are added on top, making a nice accent. From advance info, I heard rumors it resembled the much-regretted closed-down "Fukushogun", but personally I'm under the impression it doesn't look that much alike. I think "Kurobei" in Minoo resembles Fukushogun more. That being said, this place is of extremely high level on its own! When you're craving that bowl where your lips get sticky with fat after eating—the definition of "rich tonkotsu!"—this is the ultimate spot. If you're curious, go check it out.
