An unusual tuna cuisine specialty shop I've visited several times so far ( *˙-˙* ) First, the otoshi (appetizer) is a surprising piece of sukimi nigiri sushi Apparently it stems from the owner's wish: "I want you to put a little something in your stomach so you don't get sick from drinking" Recommended menu on the shop's blackboard No.1 Sakura tofu No.2 Bluefin tuna chunk No.3 Grilled tuna kama (jaw) No.4 Homemade tuna miso No.5 Deep-fried taro Ordered all recommendations and they certainly didn't disappoint! Of course the tuna-only sashimi platter and the rare throat meat yukhoe were delicious, but the top pick was undoubtedly the bluefin tuna chunk Melting deliciousness ♡ Sakura tofu recommended 1 per person ✨ Refreshing and easy to finish~ Some people even order seconds/refills!!! Deep-fried taro is crispy and gooey A dish you definitely want to order if it's anything other than tuna An insanely delicious item! Local egg tuna dashimaki is piping hot and jiggly-wiggly, awesome ♡ The accompanying grated daikon and homemade tuna miso pair wonderfully- This was so delicious I ended up ordering tuna miso separately Something that makes drinks go down bit by bit! Specialty tuna ramen is also super recommended for the final closing dish Refreshing after drinking alcohol ✨ Delicious enough to eat even when you're full A shop where everything you eat is truly delicious, unbelievable ✤ Bluefin tuna chunk ✤ Tuna-only sashimi platter ✤ Throat meat yukhoe ✤ Sakura tofu ✤ Grilled tuna kama ✤ Specialty tuna ramen ✤ Deep-fried taro ✤ Local egg tuna dashimaki ✤ Toro rare steak ✤ Tuna cutlet ✤ Homemade tuna miso ✤ Tuna prosciutto

Visited "Hon-maguro to Shin-washoku Sakura" near Nishisanso Station. A shop where you can enjoy dishes centered around bluefin tuna, where the sashimi is fresh and the umami spreads the moment it enters your mouth. Among them, the tuna kama (jaw) was a particularly memorable dish, packed with fat and plump meat. It was hearty and very delicious. The grilling degree was also exquisite, letting you fully appreciate the quality of the ingredients. The interior has a calm atmosphere allowing you to dine leisurely, making it a perfect spot when you want to thoroughly enjoy Japanese cuisine.

A hidden gem located in Moriguchi City. There is no parking lot, so you use a parking lot a little ways away. The 1st floor has a counter and horigotatsu (sunken kotatsu seating), and the 2nd floor has table seating that can accommodate banquets. A tuna-specialized shop that fish lovers should definitely visit. Tuna sushi comes out starting from the otoshi (appetizer). What I personally want you to definitely eat is SAKURA Tofu, where egg tofu and ponzu jelly match exquisitely, making it a menu item with gentle umami that you'd want to eat either before or after a meal! The tuna sashimi platter is truly the best, and the seared pieces are especially irresistible. Grilled kama takes 30 minutes, so order it first. Every menu item is definitely delicious, so please go if you ever drop by Moriguchi Station.

May 2022 Tuesday 18:30, 4th time. Came for the 3rd time too but forgot. The 5-assortment platter and grilled kama are musts. The appetizer egg tofu was beautiful. The deep-fried tuna is also good. It was a course with all-you-can-drink. Still sparsely populated due to lingering coronavirus aftermath. 2nd time Can't miss the 5-tuna assortment and grilled kama. Cherry blossom season offers a great view of the neighboring Sakura Hiroba. 1st time Had the 5-tuna assortment, tuna chunks, throat meat yukhoe, grilled kama, Sakura tofu, deep-fried taro, salad, etc. There is also an abundance of creative tuna menus. Prices are reasonable. The 1st floor is cozy with 3 table seats and 4 counter seats. There seems to be a 2nd floor as well. "Maguro shochu" is chosen for its light drinkability to match tuna dishes, apparently. Curious about the tuna ramen. Located right in the middle between Nishisanso Station and Moriguchi Station, right next to "Sakura Hiroba" on the former Panasonic factory site—wonder if it relates to the shop name.

Slightly far from Keihan Moriguchishi Station, taking about 10 minutes of leisurely walking to reach the shop. However, the food is truly delicious. Recommended is the popular tofu. It sometimes sells out. You can easily finish one all by yourself. The dashi broth is the absolute best. Some might think, "Huh? Tofu?", but I want you to try it anyway. It's so delicious you'll inadvertently ask for seconds. The sashimi is thick, so it's very hearty and satisfying. I always order this too. And the milt (shirako) is also rich and melts in your mouth, so it's recommended. Since the interior isn't very large, I make reservations every time. If you want to dine for sure, reservations are recommended.
