Felt like a Showa-era diner, which was nice (^_^) A nostalgic and gentle shop.

The quintessential set-meal diner. Filled with a nice retro feel. Run by an auntie alone, but there were only 2 or 3 customers so it seemed like there wasn't much waiting time. Ordered the mix set meal for 850 yen. White fish fry, croquette, and hamburger steak, the brown trio is quite delicious. 😋😋😋 Miso soup was super delicious. Mother's taste! At the entrance of the shopping street, they were selling mandarin oranges. Mandarins seemed popular as 2 or 3 aunties were buying them to take home, and the auntie running around doing single-op between the shop and serving food looked busy. 🤭

Today too, lunch at a community-rooted diner. This place also opens at 11:00, so I arrived before lunchtime. Ordered the Tonkatsu set meal (¥730-). Characteristics of the set meal here are: ⚫ Salad with sesame dressing (great for sesame dressing lovers) ⚫ Miso soup is tofu-based (most shops are wakame-based) ⚫ Instead of tonkatsu sauce, a curry-based sauce (this is quite delicious) The atmosphere is also very nice, like an old-fashioned shop. The taste is also an old-fashioned home-style flavor, which warms the heart. After all, I really love shops like this.

(Visited in October 2021) A friendly shop exuding a Showa-era vibe! I had stir-fried vegetables and chicken rice, and they were delicious. The shop people are also kind, and there is a TV so you won't get bored even if you drink alone.
