Today, at a coffee shop near Round One Moriguchi, I had the tonkatsu set meal (¥780-). The shop was run entirely by a single mama. The tonkatsu sauce is a demi-glace type. It had a consistently gentle taste and was delicious.

I've been curious about this neighborhood coffee shop for a while so I mustered up the courage to go in. How should I put it, it felt like a coffee shop frequented by regulars, and the out-of-place feeling was intense... Even after entering, I didn't know whether I could sit wherever I wanted or what to do. The taste of the food is average. The side dishes felt like old-fashioned flavors with strong salt and pepper. It wasn't written whether smoking was allowed or not, but since a regular old guy was smoking, I think you can smoke. Well, I probably won't go again...

The set meals are delicious. Since they change daily and include both fish and meat, you never get tired of it.
