Too good to be true, the fried potato and the fried chicken soft bone is 10/10. Other than the fried food, all the sets are delicious.

Crossing prefectural borders looking for lunch... Mid-October 2025 Saturday, arrived before 15:00 for a late lunch. Completely reserved to ourselves 🤭 Inside the shop there are also counter seats, tatami rooms, and plenty of table seats! A retro shop with a slightly high-end feel 👍 The daily special lunch 880 yen time is until 14:00, but they made one for us! The other was the A lunch set. 1500 yen. Side dishes and rice only... It would be nice if soup came with it... sigh. Even the shrimp would be happier if it was one size bigger 😓 Conclusion, the daily special feels like a good deal! There's also clam miso soup... Comes with coffee, small though it is 🙄 Even though the signboard says kappo (Japanese-style restaurant), is it my fault for ordering Western food 🤣 The taste is a delicious shop, so I want to go again 👍

Stopped by because I was hungry while passing by. It looked old-fashioned but was a very atmospheric and wonderful space. Carp were swimming in the small pond and the clerk grandmother was also kind. The food was also beautifully plated and extremely delicious! A lunch is 1500 yen tax included with a mountain of mixed fry. A level I'd want to frequent if it was in the neighborhood!
