miso soup = 10/10 meat = 10/10 sauce = 10/10 We had such a good dinner here! I don't know why the negative reviews, it is such a nice small restaurant and the chef is really friendly. You should try it when you go to see Minoh falls and on the way back it's a perfect spot to get warmed up and have some delicious food. You won't regret eating here and it's also really cheap.

The restaurant is not far from Minoo Station.No English menu but staff is helpful I've order by picture(from google review) and staff show me where is in the menu list. For me the taste and quality is equal to KatsuShin(Surawong street) & Tonkatsu-WAKO(Isetan Centralworld dep.) Deep fried scallop is quite good.Overall is fine a little bit high price. By the way the floor of restaurant is so sticky.

We were visiting the Minoh Park and waterfall and were recommended to this restaurant by the folks in the tourist information center. It was not highly patronised and very unassuming and so we didn't expect much. It turned out to be a great recommendation! The tonkatsu was really one of the best I've had - even better than Ma Maison in Tokyo. The quality of the pork was very good. The meat was tender and juicy and tasty. From what I read, the oil used is a special oil used by top tonkatsu restaurants. There were several grades of pork (at different price points) to choose from - you can choose a variety to try. If budget is not an issue, I recommend not ordering the set lunch, coz the pork from the set lunch is the poorest (i.e. thinest and driest, though still acceptably good) The wait was long as they prepare and cook on the spot, so it is fresh. The service admittedly wasn't tourist friendly nor warm by any means and communication was difficult. But rated on just the food alone, I would give it 5 stars.

It was our second visit. First time it was extraordinary and tasty. Second time we were very disappointed. Meal set looked nice but taste was just normal. In this price range we expect to please our gastronomic senses.
