WOW! Our service in Japan has been fantastic, but this has been, by far, our favorite experience. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to check this place out. The food was amazing and plenty. Very homey feeling inside. The menu is only in Japanese, but the owners are extremely helpful and very accommodating. All in all, this is definitely a highlight of our stay in Japan. Will definitely revisit on our next trip.

We absolutely loved this place. This was one of the best dining experiences we had in Japan. The food was incredible. Every set meal came with so many different dishes, sides, soup, rice, dessert, and everything was delicious. Not a single item felt extra. We ended up finishing absolutely everything on our plates. Even though we didn’t speak Japanese and the owner didn’t speak much English, he was incredibly patient and kind. Somehow, despite the language barrier, he made sure we got exactly what we wanted. What made the experience even more special was how warm and welcoming they were. The owner introduced us to the woman cooking in the kitchen, who was also an owner, she came out to greet us and wished us a good meal. At the end, they even gave us a complimentary pudding. The food was amazing, but the hospitality made this meal unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will never forget it.

An amazing place for a simple japanese meal in a cosy, eclectic and friendly environment. The menu is a ridiculous 6 densely printed pages so you can't expect every dish to be amazing, but our 2 random choices were filly and tasty. The husband handles front of house and takes a full 90 seconds to summarize the menu to every customer.The wife is in the kitchen. Both are very friendly.

Eat. Here. If you only eat at one restaurant in the Osaka area, this should be it. It's simple and unassuming, but every single item is incredible! You can taste the care that is put into each dish. The owners are amazing and friendly, and the whole shop has such a warm and cozy vibe, it feels like coming home. I had the best saba of my life here! A definite win.

Easily the best restaurant we visited during our stay. 🥰 We were looking for a place open on December 31, as most restaurants were closed, and we were lucky to stumble upon this humble gem. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes with so many great choices. Although it wasn’t available in English, the owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything to us as best he could. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, the serving sizes were just right, and the atmosphere felt so warm and homey! I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again! 😊
