May26- this is by far the prettiest temple I visited. The motif of the monkey who cares and the dragon spirits. The walk from the Minoh waterfall is lovely with so much greenery and water and the peace and quiet there
View on GoogleRyuan-ji Temple is a peaceful stop along the Minoh trail and well worth visiting if you’re in the area. One of its signature highlights is the striking red bridge spanning across the temple grounds — very photogenic and Instagram-worthy. The temple complex is quite spacious, with paths stretching across a large area, making it pleasant to explore at a slow pace. Despite its size, the atmosphere remains calm and quiet, which is part of its charm. It’s a place meant for reflection and appreciation, so visitors are encouraged to keep noise to a minimum. If you’re hiking or walking the Minoh trails and want a serene cultural stop along the way, Ryuan-ji Temple is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
