A seafood izakaya operated with community roots by a local-born owner. Centered around marine products, you can enjoy seafood BBQ where you can grill dried fish, shellfish, shrimp, meat, etc., yourself on the grill right in front of you, creative Japanese cuisine as snacks, and sake or shochu sometimes jokingly called maniac.

A hidden gem with the best cost performance!! The fish is super delicious anyway, and both the seasoning and volume are fully satisfying. It's happy to be able to eat this set meal at this price. Business hours say from 5:00 PM, but it seems they do lunch service every day from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Will definitely come again!

Regarding the food, for me it was somewhere between "average to not good." I don't know the reason, but the simmered fish didn't taste like fish at all, and the crab miso tasted close to canned food. I apologize. However, it wasn't bad enough that I couldn't finish it. Also, since I didn't try every single dish, the other dishes might naturally be delicious, and it also comes down to personal preference. On a positive note, the staff's service was kind.

Previously, when I went to eat with a group at night, the fish was delicious and I thought I wanted to visit again soon (it's a little over a 30-minute walk so I don't go very often). This time I visited during lunchtime. On the way here, my mind was all about fish, but when I looked at the menu, there was a red chicken tataki set meal, so I easily switched over (laughs). It turned out to be a huge success. Ordered thinking it would be a waste not to order beer since it's so good~ The side dishes were also truly delicious and went well with the beer. I resisted the urge to add sake as well (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

This is a seafood izakaya located in Onohara. It was run single-handedly by the manager? There were about 4 groups of customers, but the food wasn't served slowly or anything, it was wonderful. The sashimi seemed to be what was available at the market that day, and on this day it was squid, horse mackerel, Japanese halfbeak, and red gurnard. Being sourced from the market, it was fresh and delicious. The island shallots were exquisite, and the fried chicken was also very tender. The fish ajillo was unusual but delicious. Baguette is also included. There are French fries for children. There are counter seats, table seats, and tatami seating.

Visited for the first time during the day. There is a sign outside the shop listing the lunch menu (6 types). Since fish was on the menu, I wanted to stop by. I got the Sayori tempura set meal for 880 yen. Spring is its season, a long, slender, and light fish. When made into tempura, the meat is fluffy, soft, and delicious. My companion had the fried horse mackerel set meal for 800 yen. It seemed to be a thick mackerel. In addition to the main fish dish, it came with two side dishes. The miso soup had a gentle taste. When I visited on another day, it was the grilled amberjack set meal for 880 yen. For under 900 yen with good taste, and side dishes like wakame seaweed salad and mozuku vinegar, it felt homemade, and personally, it was a high-quality lunch. I don't think there were many shops around here where you could eat a set meal at a reasonable price during the day. If you are looking for a place to eat, why not drop by Hokkori-san? Business days need to be confirmed. By the way, at night it is an izakaya. It was run single-handedly by a male owner. There are three 4-person tables and two low tables on a raised tatami platform. The inside was a bit dark during the day.
