View on GoogleHimeiwa" is a giant rock standing along the path on the east side of the river leading to Minoo Falls. It's shaped as if a huge rock had been split cleanly in two, with a narrow gap between the halves just wide enough for one adult to pass through, like a gate made by nature. As the name "Himeiwa" suggests, it has long been known as a rock associated with women, and legend has it that passing through the crack in the rock brings "the blessing of children" and "an easy childbirth.
View on GoogleFrom 2026.1.29 until May 15 (planned), beyond this point is hard-mode course only! It's pitch black at night! Everyone, please be careful!!!
View on GoogleI wondered why it's called "Himeiwa"… I see, it feels like you're entering the crack in the rock. If you go through Himeiwa and keep going, you'll join the main path.
