The 1st floor of YUZUYA Hashimoto-tei is a takeout & merchandise sales area and a riverbed-style open space (kawadoko) making it a slightly luxurious cafe. (1st-floor cafe does not accept reservations). The 2nd floor is a fully reservation-only restaurant YUZUYA A TABLE UKITA. Under the concept of "Passing on and Connecting", we realize a healthier way of eating and deliver it to everyone with hearty food.

A wonderful place to eat if you're in the area! The food was tasty, the serving sizes were generous, and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. I had the cloud matcha, which had a beautifully strong flavour! The cutlet sandwich was wonderfully cooked, and the soup that came with it was incredibly tasty!

Don’t come here for the food, I had the pork katsu sando, the “aged pork” was very tough and the homemade bread had being frozen and defrosted in the microwave leaving it rock hard and unable to be eaten. So far on my trip through Japan this cafe is the only place I have being disappointed in. I would think for the price it would be a lot better. Come here for the view and scenery not the food

It’s a nice place to stop by after the Minoh waterfall hike. The menu is limited, but it’s not bad - they just make sure that what they offer tastes great. We ordered yuzu cheesecake set (which comes with a drink of your choice) and the little treasure. The little treasure is not for everyone, I must admit, tastes ok, in my opinion. The cheesecake was great. There’s not too much place here, so you’ll sit very near to other people. The prices are a little higher than in general in Japan. Card payments are accepted here.

They sell a nice matcha latte here but the experience is inconsistent, its not cheap at ¥950, the first time they filled the correct amount of matcha as shown in photos and it was great. My second time here however they gave almost half as much matcha and didn’t fill the cup, I mentioned it and they made no effort to fix it. Considering the price I don’t think that’s very good, normally Japanese shops are honest and will say right away if they don’t have enough, so I’m not happy this time. Because of that it tastes weaker. Be aware when you buy so you aren’t disappointed . If it was cheap I wouldn’t care as much, but it’s not.

The burger steak was juicy and flavorful, and the presentation of the food was a nice surprise. I sat outside during autumn and the scenery was beautiful. Great local stout beer on tap too!
