Delicious food and brilliant service in an elegant and authentic atmosphere. What is not to love? Absolutely recommend it.
View on GoogleWonderful lunch with friends. Cosy atmosphere with good service. Unagi lunch was extraordinary special with different taste! Reasonable price. Reservation need during weekend.
View on GoogleWe had Ni-no-zen and unagi. Ni-no-zen was satisfying with a main dish full of vegetables, 2 pieces of persimmon leaf sushi, tempura, botamochi, and a drink. The unagi was soft and delicious. I liked the mild seasoning. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleThe shop is located along a main street in Matsubara, but once you step inside, the atmosphere is calm and makes you forget the hustle and bustle outside. This time I used it for lunch, and enjoyed persimmon leaf sushi and seasonal dishes. The persimmon leaf sushi is handmade by artisans, and the rice is fluffy and light, leaving an impression with a slightly different texture than usual. There is also a parking lot, and the location is easily accessible along the main street. I think it's a shop that's easy to use when you want to enjoy a meal leisurely.
View on GoogleA restaurant by 'Kakichi', famous for persimmon leaf sushi. Very calm atmosphere, a hidden gem known only to those in the know. Ordered ・Ichinozen (1,800 yen) ・Shiso Juice (300 yen) Ichinozen is limited to 10 servings per day, so coming early is recommended. Ichinozen Contents ・Seasonal dish (chicken or salmon stew on this day) ・Pickled vegetables in vinegar ・Persimmon leaf sushi (can be changed to white rice) ・Clear soup Persimmon leaf sushi is a set of 2 salmon and mackerel. If you don't like it, changing to salmon x salmon or mackerel x mackerel is reportedly possible. Selected chicken stew for the seasonal dish. Daikon, carrots, fried tofu, shiitake mushrooms, all soaked up the flavor well, and the chicken was very tender and delicious. Persimmon leaf sushi has a familiar taste from the old days, with consistent deliciousness. I felt like I could eat as many as I wanted. The additionally ordered shiso juice was also refreshing and delicious, a satisfaction you wouldn't expect for 300 yen. The inside of the shop is spacious, with private rooms and horigotatsu seating, and it's very comfortable in a calm Japanese space. The hospitality of the shop staff made my heart warm. I want to visit again when I want to eat a gentle Japanese lunch that sinks into the body. Thank you for the meal.
