The takoyaki are on the large side. Slightly firm outside and soft inside. Besides octopus, the fillings are green onion and tenkasu. The toppings are aonori and bonito powder. The original sauce was described as rich, but personally I found it mellow with mild acidity and spiciness, making it easy to eat. It was applied generously, but it didn't feel heavy. Delicious, generously sized takoyaki that leave you feeling full. Prices start at 400 yen for 6. No parking. The shop is at a busy intersection, so street parking isn't possible. The sidewalk is wide, so you can park motorcycles and bicycles. If you're coming by car, I recommend picking some up while shopping at the convenience store across the street.
View on GoogleI'd been curious about this shop every time I saw it at the intersection. Usually I just pass by on my bike or in the car, but today it was raining and I walked from the bus stop, so I tried buying some while waiting at the light. 6 takoyaki were 350 yen. I could see a batch just finishing on the griddle, so I was able to buy at the perfect timing. I don't think I even waited 3 minutes. They asked if I wanted aonori, bonito, and mayonnaise, I said yes, and I chose soy sauce for the flavor. I ate them somewhere a little over 10 minutes' walk away, and they were piping hot, so hot that I hesitated a bit even after breaking one in half, and delicious. I was worried they'd get cold, but maybe because the container was styrofoam, they stayed hotter than I expected, which made me happy. Next time I'd like to try a different flavor.
View on GoogleI'd always been curious about this place whenever I drove through from east to west. The shop is on the southeast corner of the intersection, and in front of it there's a big sidewalk space for people waiting at the traffic light. You can't get in from the east, west, or north, so this time I headed here driving from south to north and pulled onto the sidewalk through a gap in the railing at the relatively wide crosswalk to buy lol There was nobody at the crosswalk so I went in, but if even one person is waiting, just give up lol I had 12 takoyaki with the dashi soy sauce flavor. The size is the jumbo ball type that's trendy right now. It's been quite a while since I went, so I don't remember the price lol The texture of takoyaki changes depending on how much flour is used: with too little, they come out crispy outside and gooey inside, then deflate once you put them in the container; with too much, they bake into nice round balls but the inside is fairly firm and feels heavy. These takoyaki are nicely round, but with an exquisite mix that doesn't feel heavy, and they were satisfying to eat. I like lighter flavors, so the dashi soy sauce flavor was nice too. If I'm nearby again and there's nobody on the sidewalk, I'd like to drop by lol Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleA newly opened takoyaki shop The kitchen is new with clean equipment Ate them piping hot but the taste was just average Nothing like strong dashi or konnyaku inside at all, just an ordinary taste The person making them seemed unaccustomed to cooking takoyaki They kept rolling them around with cooking chopsticks, so I think they really aren't used to it yet Fairly large takoyaki 6 pcs 330 yen 9 pcs 480 yen 12 pcs 630 yen Flavors: Sauce Dashi soy sauce Ponzu Plain 4 kinds Green onions +50 yen
