Matsunoya has app coupons, X coupons, and paper coupons, so if you use them strategically, the cost performance becomes the absolute best. By utilizing these coupons, rival set meal chains will be annihilated. Discount on the 2-piece loin katsu set meal with an app coupon, added discounted potato salad with an app coupon, getting grated daikon with ponzu (oroshi-ponzu) with a paper coupon to change flavors, and free refills of large-portion rice and miso soup as many times as you like. Eating all this for 930 yen! There's definitely no rival shop that can compete with this. There were 3 staff members, all performing standard customer service levels just executing manual greetings, but it's sufficient. The tables were a bit dirty, but I can't complain. Given this cost performance, it can't be helped, I suppose. As for this branch, private rooms are also provided, which makes an even better impression. Matsunoya is by far my recommended set meal chain.

Visited for breakfast on a holiday. The interior was bright, spacious, and made a good impression. The parking lot is also spacious, making it feel comfortable. Traffic flow is concentrated near the entrance/exit, making it feel cramped. The taste and volume of the food are typical for a chain store, so no major difference. Rice and miso soup refills use an exchange system where you hand your empty bowl to the staff, so it feels a bit awkward if you want to refill multiple times.

[Follow-up Review] April 2024 When I came back after a long time, the shop had been renovated and made into self-service. It's amazing that they have private rooms. (There are 2 private rooms, and to use them, you have to call out to a staff member) Though cheap, the service is good, set meals come with free refills of rice and miso soup, and on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, you get a coupon usable for next time ♪ Even though prices have gone up by about 30% due to inflation, keeping low prices with this service is something I think they're trying very hard on. A restaurant that ordinary folks are grateful for. If you hate waiting in line at the ticket vending machine, ordering via mobile order from your smartphone lets you skip the wait, making it very convenient 👍 [Previous Review, 3 Years Ago] A tonkatsu specialty store belonging to the Matsuya Foods group, located northbound along the Chuo Circular Route. Parking available. This time we dropped by for lunch. The interior is quite spacious compared to Matsuya, with counter seats and table seats. Inexpensive, food is served fast, and it's delicious. Set meals come with free refills of rice and miso soup. What's rare is that there's a kids' room inside the shop. Also, in the back seats, there is a semi-private seating area where about 5 people can eat. The fried oysters were ridiculously delicious, so I recommend them. The staff's customer service was also good, allowing me to enjoy my meal pleasantly. Currently, the number of Matsunoya stores is quite small and there isn't one nearby, so I'd be grateful if they opened a few more locations.

I had the special breakfast loin katsu set meal for 490 yen. This branch opens from 9:00 AM. Breakfast service runs until 11:00 AM, but it feels like a great deal. Loin katsu, cabbage, potato salad, baked nori, wakame miso soup, and for the selectable side dish, I chose natto. Rice and miso soup are free to refill exclusively at this branch. Naturally, I got a large refill. A satisfying 490 yen meal starting from the morning. The parking lot and the inside of the store are spacious, and the staff's service is good.
