First visit on Friday, September 19, 2024 at 13:00 A traditional coffee shop with free parking where you can eat lunch starting from 550 yen. Peeking inside, the lights weren't on, so I thought it was a regular holiday, but an elderly woman kindly welcomed us, saying, "If it's rice, we still have some," even though lunch was said to be until 13:00, because we visited as a pair of two. The inside had table seating, around 6 tables for two, 2 tables for four, and 2 tables for six, giving that kind of feel.

The daytime lunch is surprisingly voluminous and delicious for a mere 570 yen, and the add-on coffee is an amazingly delicious 220 yen. I often go when passing by nearby, but it's full at 12 PM, so it gets crowded starting past 11:30 AM, and I go right before that. This price and deliciousness make it worth going.
View on GoogleOrdered the daily lunch, which on this day was the grated-daikon hamburg steak lunch. The interior has a retro feel, and with a massive collection of manga, I think it's a good place to kill time. It seems that after lunch finishes and things calm down with customers, they might close the shop a bit early, so it's better to go as early as possible.
View on GoogleThe other day, the sign said that katsu curry is a great deal on the 1st of every month, so I went to check it out for the first time. It's 570 yen for this volume. It was delicious. I felt like going again. ^_^
View on GoogleThe shop's atmosphere was top-notch. It's a manga cafe of a sort you don't see much anymore lately, but the lunch was cheap, voluminous, and exceptionally good. Since I even received a visit point card from the elderly lady who seemed to be the owner?, I definitely plan to visit again. Showa-era coffee shops are the best!
