I've been a loyal customer of the 1st branch since I was 20 years old. The kushikatsu is also very piping hot and you can eat an endless amount. It's a nostalgic and warm shop. A shop I want to drop by if I come nearby again Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleA legendary shop that has been around for a long time (lol) Anyway, cheap. A shop loved by locals. Must be loved by Hannan University students too (lol) Okonomiyaki is delicious, right? The system for kushikatsu is to order a minimum of 5. You'll be surprised by the prices!
View on GoogleGiven these times, it used to be cheap but prices have gone up ~ I come to eat 3 to 4 times a year, Prices went up 10-20% compared to half a year ago ( ; ; ) I wish they would change skewers from units of 5 to a minimum order of 3. Drinking beer 🍺, eating okonomiyaki, and ordering 3 kinds of skewers means preparing for a total increase of ➕1000 yen due to the price hikes (T . T)

View on GoogleMatsubara City, Osaka Prefecture in Darumaya Branch 3 Felt the Showa era and told to go eat super cheap kushikatsu, so I visited "Darumaya Branch 3" located in Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture. Since it was a weekday, I could secure a table without a reservation. It seems crowded on weekends and holidays. You write your order on paper, but looking at the menu "Pork ball 396 yen including tax," I was shocked. Even the most expensive modern yaki is 715 yen. It's a surprising price. Kushikatsu has a rule to order in units of 5. From 44 yen including tax per skewer. Way too cheap. Since they are bite-sized kushikatsu, you can easily eat 5. We ordered 10 meat, 5 pork tenderloin, 5 onion, 5 pumpkin, 5 eggplant, 5 oyster. Plus pork ball, lots-of-green-onion yaki, Daimyo modern yaki, 2 servings of big yakisoba + normal yakisoba. Kushikatsu batter is hard, feeling crunchy rather than crispy. The winter-limited oysters were sweet and delicious. The ingredients are small so you can eat a fair amount. All okonomiyakis are small. A bit surprising is they put way too much mayonnaise on top. I'd like them to excuse this. Also, I was reluctant to eat the lots-of-green-onion yaki with sauce. I wanted soy sauce. Even if you eat in large quantities it's around 5000 yen. A surprising price range. A famous shop where you can feel Showa-era Osaka.
