Came alone on Tuesday around 11:40. There is a parking lot and bicycle parking in front of the shop, but be careful as it's a one-way street and extremely narrow. There are five 4-person tables on the 1st floor. It seems there are seats on the 2nd floor too. Glad to be able to enter without hesitation even as a solo customer. Ordered: Mixed ball (okonomiyaki) 660 yen Kushikatsu (onion) 66 yen *Kushikatsu requires ordering a minimum of 5 or more Cheapest ones -> Pork ball, squid ball are 495 yen! When I arrived, 3 seats were occupied, and I waited about 15 minutes until it was done. In this day and age, it's appreciated to be able to eat okonomiyaki at this price. It's a shop I want to go to again.
View on GoogleIt seemed like a regular spot for my friend. The taste is average. The kushikatsu was also delicious. The prices are just like the old days. Even though they reportedly raised prices, this price for eating out nowadays is something to be truly grateful for. The sauce was kept in the refrigerator, ensuring hygiene peace of mind. Such thoughtfulness is present everywhere. I felt that we must cherish shops like this.
View on GoogleMatsubara City, Osaka Prefecture in Darumaya Branch 2: Yakisoba and Kushikatsu I visited "Darumaya Branch 3" for a drinking party on a Tuesday, but it was closed. I made my first visit to "Darumaya Branch 2," which is located about a 1 minute walk away. Since I always go to Branch 3, I am familiar with it, but "Darumaya Branch 2" is a first. I had heard from our companion who was a regular that the 1st floor was extremely crowded and narrow, so we were guided to the 2nd floor. There were no other customers yet so the heater wasn't on and it was cold. Even so, once we started eating, our bodies warmed right up. We started our order with "Yakisoba large size 4 servings." After that, we ordered drinks and kushikatsu all at once. Be careful as Darumaya comes with 5 skewers per order. When we ordered onions, meat, pork tenderloin, shrimp, scallops, eggplant, quail eggs, wieners, etc., more than 40 kushikatsu skewers were brought to the table. We visited as a group of 4, but let us use 2 tables. Otherwise the table would be full. Ordering this much all at once causes problems too, but our yakisoba was brought out 2 servings at a time and we started all at once. The noodles and sauce are exquisite. Cheap yet delicious. Chewy noodles and sweet sauce. Those who want to use aonori seaweed powder and fish powder can do so. Eat straight through all at once. Cabbage and pork. That's enough. It's ridiculously delicious. Now, the problem is we don't know which kushikatsu is which. They come served on a large platter so you have a bit of fun eating them and realizing "ah, potato," but there are many deep-fried skewers that look indistinguishable from the outside. That's also part of the charm. It's fine as long as you don't order them all at once. Since 4 of us ordered 100 kushikatsu skewers and were full, we ordered "Yakisoba large size 4 servings" to finish off, and got our fill of yakisoba at the end. Please definitely try the yakisoba at "Darumaya Branch 2." It's cheap but delicious.

View on GoogleA gritty/retro shop ☆ Visited because I wanted to snack while drinking starting from daytime♪ Guided by a local friend, we headed to Darumaya, which has supposedly been running for a long time 🏃🏼 Kushikatsu is not double-dipped; rather, you pour the sauce onto a small plate and dip to eat 🧚🏻♂️ The price per skewer is cheap However, since the minimum order is 5 of the same type, you might think a ton comes out, but they aren't huge so you can munch through them easily ✨ It's delicious so please do try it 😊
