A restaurant that used to be part of a well-known sushi restaurant chain in the neighborhood, and is now operating independently. It's a restaurant I've been to many times, but since there are few places in the area where you can eat kaiseki, I think it's a valuable presence in that sense. Children are also allowed, so it's easy to use for family meals. The restaurant's atmosphere is old-school, and those looking for a sophisticated urban space might have a slightly different impression. Personally, there were times when I felt somewhat uneasy about hygiene. There are fish swimming in a large tank, and I think that increasing the care put into it, including the tank, would increase a sense of security. Regarding the food, the flow and unity unique to a course weren't very strong, leaving an overall regional impression. However, the seafood sometimes features good catches, and depending on the dish, the quality is solidly high, which makes it feel all the more wasteful. Since moments showing good ingredients are visible, I think it's a restaurant with plenty of room for improvement. Frankly speaking, it might receive harsh evaluations if located in the city, but I feel it's a restaurant that survives due to its regionality. On the other hand, it has value as an option to enjoy kaiseki and seafood in this area, and I think it has its uses. Since good parts are visible, it's a restaurant I hope will become even better in the future.
View on GoogleWhenever our family went out for sushi since the old days, we relied on this place. Visiting the restaurant for the first time in over 10 years, it strongly retained the atmosphere of back then, allowing me to fully enjoy a nostalgic vibe. The sushi itself was solidly delicious, and it gave me that nostalgic feeling of "I'm back." It's an old-school sushi restaurant that truly makes you feel loved by the locals. The restaurant's parking lot is gravel parking right next to the intersection, and it's relatively easy to park in.
View on GoogleI went because I heard it was part of the Takara Sushi group, but it's like a completely different shop. Doesn't the Kaizuka branch worry about trouble by putting up the Takara Sushi sign? First, the attitude of the staff—the chefs are unfriendly, and as for the hall ladies, they don't even clear away empty dishes and just chat idly... Student part-timers provide slightly better customer service. The food is also meh for the price... If you go with the image of Kaizuka's Takara Sushi, it's completely different. Lunch might be a good deal, but if you're just going for dinner normally, you should choose another restaurant. Checked out hurriedly in about an hour. Cards not accepted. Cash only. 15,000 yen for two people eating lightly and drinking a little. Will never use again. I hope no one goes there mistaking it for Takara Sushi.
