A konamon (flour-based dish) spot in Kumatori. Thought it would be an old-established shop run by an old grandpa and grandma Turns out it's a normally lively place (lol). Really enjoyed it! Visited when staying at Super Hotel Kumatori. About a 10-minute walk from Super Hotel. Recommended for dinner.

20230402 Went on the 2nd Hyogo Prefecture Shrines and Temples Blitz Tour in Himeji & Takasago! Spring! Cherry blossoms! Hanami! So departing at 6:30 with a colleague to see 🌸 cherry blossoms at Himeji Castle and eat delicious soba! After visiting Himeji Castle, praying at Himeji Shrine, Hyogoken Himeji Gokoku Shrine, Harimanokuni Sousha, Itatehyozu Shrine, Manoyama Hachiman Shrine, Iseki Shrine, Futatsubiandaryu Temple, Kokuuki Shrine, headed to today's final destination "jijibaba"! Jijibaba is an "okonomiyaki & teppanyaki" restaurant near where my colleague lives! My colleague seems to have used it several times and raved, "You can eat delicious okonomiyaki without going to central Osaka!" It's been 2 months since I came to Osaka, and my excitement is up even before entering since it's my first okonomiyaki! Oh, nice vibe! The owner is also friendly and we chatted a bit! Ordered based on my colleague's recommendations! Starting with "Tonpeiyaki"... What is this, delicious! The egg is fluffy and gooey! "Pork Yakisoba with Egg: Thick Noodles" Soy sauce-based yakisoba, plus thick noodles, irresistible~ Here comes the "Original Horumon Tenkasutama" Yep, delicious, no doubt about it! "Yaki Udon" This is also soy sauce-based, delicious~ The finale is "Kalbi Tare" The meat, the sauce, the cooking, delicious! Old man has eaten various famous "okonomiyaki" & "yakisoba", but personally I love this! Not just "okonomiyaki" but "yakisoba" is also irresistibly delicious! The owner said, "If you come too much, you'll get tired of it!", but when should I come next! Thank you for the meal! 20230519 Since a colleague who worked with me in Aomori Prefecture came to help out, we used it for a welcome party! Came about a month later, delicious just from the atmosphere! Like last time, starting with "Tonpeiyaki", yes delicious! Next "Mizunasu", "Mix Yakisoba with Egg: Thick Noodles", "Original Horumon Tenkasutama", "Negiyaki", "Kalbi Tare", "Takotama", "Pork Yaki Udon: Soy Sauce", delicious~ The quick finale "Shiso Bacon Fried Rice", delicious~ Everything is delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Got delicious modernyaki and a big onigiri! The asphalt in the parking lot is peeling and the road surface is bad, so that's the only thing that bothers me

Whenever I go out to eat in Kumatori, I always rely on this shop. Apparently the parking lot is large and easy to park in. (I don't drive so I wouldn't know...) Inside the shop there's a spacious tatami room and three 4-person table seats. The table seats are partitioned with roll curtains so it's relaxing. Every single okonomiyaki and yakisoba is super delicious. This time I ordered pork mochi cheese tama. I also ordered suji negiyaki yakisoba, but forgot the photo... Enjoyed both deliciously☆ Also had a few a la carte dishes. Since we went as 3 girls, the finale was dessert. The sweet potato and vanilla ice cream are delicious so I order it every time. If our schedules match, it's a restaurant I'd like to visit with the 3 of us again♡
